The lady at petsmart told me to call the animal rescue league about the other kittens. They(ARL) asked me what I expected them to do about it, I said I guess leave them there to die and hung up!

I have 2 boys, 7-5. The poor cat has had to endure alot here in the last 3 days but I guess it could have been alot worse off! And I got my 3 year old cat the same way, actually he was a small kitten, 6 weeks, living in the hedges between mine and my neighbors yard. But that cat survived and is the best cat I ever had, he actually plays with my kids, every cat I had before stayed to themselves until it was time for food or water!

When my wife was pregnant with my first kid I told my dog at the time I wouldnt forget about her(Very cute Shar-pei, I say that in the most masculine way,lol). I knew I would love my kids as much as my dog. Well now I feel stupid because before having kids I had no Idea what it was like as a parent to love a child, well it aint even close, I love animals(not in a nut-job way)but there is no way it compares to my children or even any other human being for that matter. If theres ever another Noahs Ark and Im Noah, Im saving as many humans as I can, then the animals!

Im just kidding, it would actually be weird if you didnt "push" religion now, I mean your relationship with god.

Cleosmom If you love animals like you say you do, there are kittens on route 30 westbound right before Cedar street exit living on the hillside along the highway. I came down Sunday afternoon and saw a very tiny kitten about to step onto the highway so I pulled off to the side and lets just say my 3 year old cat hasnt been too happy since Sunday. I took the kitten(3-4 weeks old) to petsmart to get some advice on a kitten still nursing and now shes quarantined in my bathroom until shes old enough to get tested for Aids/Leukemia. The lady at petsmart told me there are most definitely a few more there and I heard other meows. But "my" new kitten is healthy and drinking mothers milk from a bowl so I dont have to bottle feed her anymore.

Speaking of animals I was picking my kids up from my in-laws a little while ago and on the way home I saw a squirrel run in front of the vehicle in front of me. The road is not heavily traveled, I thought about how bad the timing was for that squirrel. Then I hit a bird that flew in front of my vehicle on the same road a few miles later, I wondered what 2was going on.

Just for the record, I have no clue what the hell Patty is even talking about but yah, It didnt take long. My next thread will be revolved around something you(Patty) couldnt possibly bring religion into, actually thats impossible!

Also all these people who used to cry and scare us about "the hole in the ozone layer" causing a greenhouse effect. Well I heard about a month ago they found a way to close the hole but where afraid it might cause a greenhouse effect! I think I posted about this on here somewhere. Also I posted on this. Im not opposed to saving any species. I believe all life is valuable in some way, I hate bugs, but they all have their place(away from me). Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I dislike the people who put animals above humans, especially dogs over kids comparison. I dont devalue the lives of other species, I just value human life alot more. Ive risked my life for other humans in the past and wouldnt "bat an eye" to do it again but if it comes to me saving a human(i dont know) or my dog or cat, see ya Liam(cat), see ya fluffy(dog)!

This should explain it. AL GORE! You know the tree-hugger who buys multi-million dollar houses all over the country which use more electric in one year than the country of Iraq! Travels to tree-hugging events in his jets and these same tree-huggers who fight for the cause accept him because of his money. Im not putting Gore down for this, I would do the same if I had his money(fly jets, buy big houses). Im just saying he supports these causes then does the exact opposite of what he says he stands for. I also must say I've never really cared much for Al Gore so my opinion might be biased. Im not really against environmentalists, just the hypocrits and extremists (tree-huggers)but I guess you have them no matter what the cause. To answer your question, my interpretation of a tree hugger is not an environmentalist, its a hypocrit who claims to be an envir. then does everything to contradict what they say they believe!

My opinion is, pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan and let the CIA and Special Forces do their thing! We will just keep killing low level nuts all day because they keep coming in waves like cockroaches, being brainwashed to believe they're dying for the cause! Let the CIA go after the high level members(cowards) who are hiding in caves. If we go to war with any country and are actually allowed to fight without being hampered by politicaly correct bullshit no other country would stand a chance! (When we where in Somalia we would get shot at by thugs in Toyotas with guns mounted in the beds of trucks. We're sitting in Abrams tanks and other armored vehicles making calls to U.N. headquarters in Djibouti or some place far from where we where.to get approval to fire back, by this time the Somalis are long gone, they knew this was how it worked, bullshit! Dont worry, militarily we are light years ahead of any other country, even China. Chinas problem is they are a rich government, but most of the population is still living in poverty. If war broke out they would not have support from people who already have low moral. Trust me, I've seen alot of what we have militarily and theres alot more I havent seen. We've had stealth technology since the 70s (maybe earlier) so what do we have now that we dont know about? Think about it, stealth seems so new but we've had it for at least 4 decades! Today not one other country has an answer for it. The problem with N. Korea is way to poor, alot of sabre rattling. They know it wouldnt be wise to use the few nukes they might, might have. Back to China, they have alot of people but their military is still I believe 4,000,000 strong, I could be wrong. China doesnt even have an aqircraft carrier for their navy, Russia only has 1 Soviet Era carrier. The only reason these wars would possibly be long drawn out is because we'd be over there fighting with our navy and airforce just like everywhere else and China is a huge country. Our air power and especially our naval power is unmatched, no country in the world even comes close!

I agree! You can say we're better off, maybe but who really knows? I wouldnt do it all over again. Way to many lives lost, for what, so Iran can control Iraq and the rest of the Middle East! I've said before, Iraq was a buffer to Iran and now Iran will eventually become the regional superpower!

Im talking about actual war, one nations army against anothers, not these nut job groups, religious fanatics(im not talking about born agains either). I dont even consider "the war on terrorism" a true war. Not discrediting our military. We're fighting a cause, thugs from all over the world. Unfortunately we're the ones acting like its an actual war "with rules" so to speak! Of course we will probably never have to fight an actual war against another countries military unless Iran really is as stupid as its acting. There is no country in the world that could withstand a prolonged war with us conventional or nuclear and by prolonged I mean 6 months. As you saw in Iraq, we crushed their military in the first 7 days! Its the insurgency that causing the problems. Not to change stories here but think about what we've done in Iraq. There is no other country in the world that could pull this off. Getting a bunch of religious Islamic nuts to agree to actually have somewhat of a democracy. All in 7 years time. Theres still alot of work to be done but it really is amazing when you think of what weve accomplished so far. Thanks to our troops and their families!

So, I might actually start WWIII by starting this thread. Hm, if I start a thread about oil Im almost guaranteed to start WWIII!!! You must mean Islam, what other modern era war was started because of religion? War on terrorism, muslim extremists. You dont hear about Catholics or Baptists starting wars because of religion. Every modern era war ever fought revolved around oil in some way. The only religious war is now. Muslims, their religion tells them to live like primitive animals with a tribe mentality and kill anyone who wants to change this lifestyle, Sharia law. And still this war revolves around oil! Our first obligation going into Iraq was to protect the oil fields!
