The goal I was given is 70/70 I am reaching it. Usually liquids I am hitting 80oz. I haven't had any issues with evacuations I am regular and have been consistent. Maybe it is just healing, but no one else has had this issue. I am trying not to compare, but this is making me nervous. -

I am definitely not having that problem so I think a stool softener would be pretty disastrous. -
Yes, they are just healing, but isn't it super annoying? I had surgery on the 8th and I can't stop scratching, it drives me crazy!

Please someone, how long until I start losing weight, any weight? I just don't understand what I am doing wrong. -
The whole time I kept having a nightmare I wouldn't lose weight after all this. How horrifying to have it come true. I had surgery on the 8th. I haven't lost anything since. i drink my water, my protein shakes, I walk, but nothing. How could this be happening. Am I just doomed to be overweight forever? I am beyond devastated. Maybe something changes in the next couple months, but I am no longer hopeful.

Calm down. You're still very swollen. Many doctors advise against weighing the first month because it can be very disheartening. Everyone heals at different rates. Just keep with your plan and you'll be ok. I promise, the scale will move soon - and BIG! It can take a full month for all the abdominal swelling to go down.

so I am pretty frustrated at this point. I know it's only been a week and a half since surgery, but should I be losing weight? Any weight? I don't get it! I thought this was a tool to help. I lost 40 lbs prior, but now I'm done? I am getting in my protein, I am walking, I am drinking. I mean seriously? WTF -

Congrats. Just take it easy. I had mine on the 8th and I was in rough shape. So many people were walking away and I was thinking. "maybe something is wrong because I just feel wrecked" but it did get better. My pain didn't really start to recede until 4 or so days later, but other than some pulling in my stomach it's a lot better. Just don't over do it go at your own pace. -

I had surgery the 8th. I thought i would be getting around a little better, but there is this one part of my stomach, maybe where the hernia was, that is still killing me! I try walking, but can't make it too far because of the pain. One step at a time I know. Everything else is going great though. -
Heading to the hospital in about 10 minutes! So excited!

I have a hiatal hernia that is going to be repaired as well. Hopefully your pain eases. Take it easy at home. -

!0 days to go. Seems surreal after waiting so long. I did a little grocery shopping for after surgery. I'll get more next weekend. I ended up losing 40 lbs on my preop diet. i feel ready. I hope next week flies by.

Hi Kasey! So here you are, after all the struggles and waiting, and it's YOUR TURN! I am happy and excited for you, and trust all will go as smoothly as mine. It does have a surreal quality to it -- you're in hospital gown, getting prepped, you know it's happening but keep double checking yourself -- Am I dreaming this? And they relax you into lalaland and you wake up sleeved! Wow. Just WOW. Yes, the remaining days will fly by. You did amazingly well on the pre-op. Woot!

Oh my goodness it's so close. Tuesday is my pre surgery appt. Wednesday I have a class, Friday is my last dayf work. The 6th I meet with the anesthesiologist and the 8th is the day. I can't believe it's almost here!

Yes, I have been having weekend food funerals. Small coconut cream pie Sonic shake. Cheeseburger wrap from Beef o'Bradys (so good) Panera bagels. Tomorrow is 2 week until surgery. I gave up coffee and my vices lol.

Yes, I feel exactly like that! Like to close but so far. Times seems to have slowed because you're anxiously waiting! I am so excited I want to move time forward.

I had mine out 13 years ago, but it is a big concern with a lot of doctors. My friend still has hers and had to take these insanely large pills for her gallbladder to protect against complications with it.

I have a hiatal hernia too, damn things. Surgery and a fixer upper on the 8th. You certainly won't miss your gallbladder either. Good luck to you as well.
