@Frustr8 I am 4 months out and a little over a month ago I found out the biggest part of my problem was I had a stricture. Once I got that fixed I am feeling much better. I am able to eat little bits at a time and I am drinking 4 premier protein shakes a day. I still have rough days but doing much better!!

I am 5 1/2 weeks out RNY still on a liquid diet/ some mushy foods.... pretty much everything makes me nauseous 😕 I can’t move phases until I reach the 60 g of protein goal but that seems impossible most days I may get 5g. I have tried shakes, flavored protein drinks, protein powder it all makes me miserable 😢 I force down as much water as I can a day but that’s hard also.

Had surgery Wednesday I’m struggling with very similar issues!! Dry spot in my throat , but not able to drink enough at once for it to go away!! Really just want to sleep in between my walks. Not getting near enough liquid everything makes me gag 😕

My surgery was 6 hours from home this past Wednesday. I was just required to stay an extra night in the hospital then stop to walk every hour on the way home Friday. The drive was painful tho!!

I’m June 13th starting liquid diet tomorrow! My best friend and I are walking through this process together even have our surgeries back to back on the same day!!
