T don’t be too hard on yourself, you’ve noted that your lost and looking for help. My suggestion would be speak to a therapist to find out why old negative behaviours are returning, I’ve had moments like this too. Also if your on Facebook there are lots of Bariatric support groups, also there is a reset diet which is basically resetting the pouch with two days of liquid like we did right at the beginning, look for this on Facebook for what to follow and as nutsesmiley80 said, speak to your nutritionist. You can get back on track! Exercise takes time as you need to work on building muscle, the scales don’t move but your body changes shape. More muscle mass burns fat more efficiently. It’s a journey not a quick fix. Stay strong and reach out to your team

100 pounds is a massive loss!! I will be six months on 27th and I’ve lost 70 lbs. I’ve started to get hungry now so I think that hormone has returned. I had so much dumping and sensitivity at the beginning but now I can eat anything! Found the holidays difficult as so much temptation and tried chocolate for the first time since surgery and had the worst dumping ever. I’ve looked at doing the reset diet for a few days to see if the helps? Highest weight 303 lbs Surgery weight 275 lbs Current weight 203lbs

Sorry to hear you are feeling like this too Nina. Yes I find that everything makes me feel sick and really put me off eating. I am pushing the fluids and they have just given me some new anti sickness tablets. I am second week of purred foods, but my nurse suggested some scrambled egg tonight for the first time as I like egg. Managed a few mouthfuls and I seem okay, just feeling bloated now after fluids this evening. She assured me that it will get better so I am holding on to that right now!

I also had surgery on 27th July, I’ve only lost about six pounds. I have really struggled to eat and my nurse said the less you eat the less you loss as body in starvation mode. I am really trying to add more food each day but have been feeling really sick.

Will check lactose free, thanks. Definitely have almond, that might be better. Thanks for that, certainly can’t stomach any more cows milk 🤮 what are protein supplements? Like tablets or powder? -
I was never a big milk drinker before my bypass. I am day 12 today post op and doing liquid diet. Drinking skimmed milk with protein powered or just plain. Had no problems until yesterday when I got tummy pains and an upset tummy, tried again today, soup no problem, yogurt no problem but just drank my milk and pain again Is there an alternative that we are allowed that is still high in protein? Im in the UK so food items might be different. Would love your views on this please

Quick question, is anyone getting leg pain at night? I think it might be cause I have fibromyalgia, but dr said I have to wear the DVT tights for two weeks post op and I’m waking with really bad leg pain (not DVT)
