I am 2.5 weeks since surgery. I have followed my surgeons plan exactly. After one week I started puréed foods. I was told to try to get down 1/2 cup, 3x a day. Well I can do this easily and could probably keep on eating yet I haven’t tried and won’t. I don’t know what it feels like to be full with the sleeve really. I don’t really feel restriction. There have been a few times where it feels like food or drink is moving down the sleeve slowly and I feel light discomfort for a few seconds. I hear people say they can only get 2 or 3 bites down but I haven’t had that feeling. I get every bit I’m allowed down without a problem. I can take average size drinks of water without a problem and don’t have to just sip. Although I’m sticking to plan, I wonder if down the road things will get harder because I don’t seem to have restriction at this point. Is this normal or is something not right?
