Diagnosed with Chiari Malformation 1 in March 2015. Had brain decompression surgery June 2015, was put on neurological meds, and gained a lot of weight.  I was already heavy, tho.  I was denied VSG on the first attempt due to it being too close to the brain surgery.  Now i am glad that I had to wait.  Had VSG in Nov 2017 after losing 40 lbs on my own.  I have lost 75 lbs since surgery, 115 lbs total.  I am currently 170 lbs. 

I am currently having issues with hypoglycemia, which I was diagnosed with hyperinsulemia years before VSG.  I am hoping to get this under control and continue to lose.  Ultimately, I would like to get down to 140 lbs, with 160 being my current goal.
