No I wasn't told to restrict calories.LOL and I have a bottle of water all the time next to me and I sip it pretty often. I am gonna try the soup thing and blend it. Thank you for the help. Wanda

Dr.Abkin's list includes liquids like jello,crystal light, water etc.After 4th day I could add protein shakes vegetable juice, skim plus milk, light yogurt and lowfat cream soups. I tried the Designer whey protein shake mix with the skim milk(yuck) but I am still drinking it until the unjury shake arrives.

I was banded on Wed. I wasn't hungry Wed or Thurs. but tonite I am hungry and even though I keep sipping water.I am also having burping like crazy....Whats going on?

Yes now I am wondering if gallbladder problems arise from the surgery? Do I have to look forward to that happening as a rsult of the banding? -
OH MY GOODNESS! I am gonna walk around in total embarassment so much at work.......but hey I will be thinner and healtier right? LOL I wasn't allowed to expell outside of the bathroom either because I am a female yet my brothers were always playing pull my finger all over our house.

Instead of the water pills ,try drinking hot lemon water and parsley tea they will have you in the bathroom losing the water weight. -

BRAVO BRAVO!! Well said South Tx,I totally agree that unless a person is truly ready to what is required they may not succeed with the banding or any other program(just my opinion) .Thank you for that uplifting reminder. -

I am so happy to hear such postive things about Dr Abkin.That is the doctor I am going to be using.I had my 1st consultation with him and he made me feel very comfortable,and happy with my choice.But my family doctor is questioning why am I going to north jersey instead of using a doctor here in south jersey.WHY? Because I heard Dr Abkin is the best!
