    Under 100kgs

It's almost exactly 3 months since surgery and I am down from 120kgs at time of surgery (my highest weight) to under 100kgs (99.5kgs to be exact!). Getting to double digits has been a huge mental struggle for me. I haven't been under 100 for five years now so breaking that point has been a huge relief. Thanks to everyone on this forum. Your posts have been inspirational to me and have got me out of some tough times in this journey.

    I spewed at a restaurant

Me too on going from lapband to sleeve. And this is spot on. It completely takes you by surprise. The 30 min rule is so important.
  4. I took two but wish I had more. I’ve got a desk job. But being able to refocus on myself without work getting in the way.

    Anyone expedite the phases

Yes I moved through them faster. I pretty much skipped puréed and moved onto soft. I stayed on liquids for one meal and soft for one. I asked my dietician before doing so. Worked well for me.

    I spewed at a restaurant

Yes! The water, such a trap!

    I spewed at a restaurant

I’m ashamed to say it but I slinked away! I had just two bites of food but it didn’t wait long enough after water so when I stood up it just came up. It was mainly water but I did wipe down the seat!
  8. Today I spewed at a restaurant. I ate too fast and too soon after drinking. It was a terrible, embarrassing lesson.

How are the May sleevers doing?

I had my sleeve on 24 May and I’m on solid foods now. Back at work and looking forward to exercising this week. I’m trying hard not to focus on the scales cause I had a big drop in week one but nothing much since. Hope you’re all doing well.
  10. I’m four weeks out. First week I lost a lot of weight. Second week some weight. Third week no weight loss. Fourth week no weight loss. Today the scales moved! I was really worried when I stalled and thought I was never going to move on the scales and didn’t believe what I read about the stalls. Hang in there, give yourself time to adjust. It’s easier done than said I know!

    PatchMD Vitamin Patch Review

Yes I understand that it was a review of the patch. Just giving my insight into getting vitamin d up in general, since the patch isn’t doing a good job on that. It’s a tricky vitamin and there have been studies showing a correlation between vitamin d deficiencies and obesity. I’m think a lot of people struggle with getting this particular vitamin up and it’s an important one.

    PatchMD Vitamin Patch Review

Hey Matt, I’m sure you’re all over the vitamin d issue but just wanted to give you my insight. I’m on a once a month vitamin d capsule. In Australia it’s not for sale over the counter, you need a script and then the chemist has to compound it for you. It’s been great for me.

    Longest stall ever

I’m kinda the same. First two weeks big losses. Third week nothing. Halfway through the fourth week with nothing to loss to report. Hoping next week will get things moving again!
