I started having difficulty around my port site 2 weeks ago. I am 5 months post-op. Went to visit the Dr this week and they have no answers for me at this time as yet. I will continue to monitor it over the next couple of weeks. I find the pain is not getting worse, nor is it getting any better. The pain is in the area of the port when standing. When I lie down and you apply any pressure to the port there is no pain. The pain seems to be more surface and not deep. The area on my tummy above the pain site is about 2-3 inches round and is just slightly more pink.

Yes a friend of mine from work had her tummy tuck covered by OHIP and another friend had her breast lifted and covered by OHIP, from what I understand it all depends on the depth of the hang.

Oh I so get it now. Was out on a business dinner, ordered the pickeral - it was so good, I couldn't stop eating. About 15 minutes later I didn't think I was going to make it out of the restuarant. I was able to keep it in and down to avoid a most embarrassing moment, but have never been so happy as to get back to my hotel room. I have learned a very important lesson.

Hi, I was banded on April 9th and had a Hernia repair. I also experienced alot of pain in the centre of my chest. I think it is part of the healing process we go through as my pain has now gone away.

I pulled mine at 6 days, I have 2 small incisions that are still a little pink. I let them air all day and then at night put a little polysporin with a bandaid.

So as a newby, can we consume too much liquid? I'm 6 days out and also on the liquid stage of the diet. I'm drinking alot of fluids, it's nothing for me to drink 1-2 mugs of tea or water at a sitting. By doing this am I stretching my pouch? Should I be restricting the amount of clear fluids that I take in?
