Great job! -
I have been lucky that I have only had one week where I have not lost weight. However, I know a stall is coming at some point. My Nutritionist told me that it will absolutely happen to everyone at one point or another. Stalls (early post op or later) are the Body's natural way to adjust to your new system. Keep at it and you will drop lbs. Good luck!

Fresh Cod and Salmon
Jdesmond73 replied to apositivelife4me's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I started eating fish 6 weeks out and it was easy to get down but Salmon (which I used to love) gives me unholy heartburn for some reason now -
Total loser. Drop that fool. You made a Life changing decision that was the best thing you could do for your health. If people can't see that, they are not worth your time. I am lucky that my Wife, kids and close friends have been so supportive. Those that have been judgemental or negative have been dropped from my Life. Best of luck to you!

Throwing Up acid and small amount of blood 2 days post op!
Jdesmond73 replied to gully90's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I threw up blood the day after surgery. Called my Doc and he said if it happened more than once that I should come in. Luckily, it didn't happen again. -
Great work. Stay after it!

Husband does not support my dream to have this surgery
Jdesmond73 replied to Bobbie2017's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Not cool and very unfortunate. I know its easier said than done but do what's right for you and tell him to deal with it. I am very lucky that my Wife and Kids were so supportive. -

Submitted to Insurance, now I wait...

They said it wasn't medically necessary. It is unfortunate but I had it done anyway and don't regret it one bit! -
What do you think will be hardest for you?
Jdesmond73 replied to Love2Travel816's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Not drinking while eating and remembering to eat slowly have been the biggest challenges for me. Best of luck! -
Congratulations! My Wife has also been tremendously supportive and it has made things so much easier for me. Just keep your eye on the ball, stay focused and the group gatherings will get easier. Good luck!

Never again. I have accepted the fact that I just can't eat fried food. Fired food, pizza, pasta, beer, etc., brought me the point of being dangerously obese in the first place. Not going back there!

My advice would be to always think “Protein first.” Avoid sugars and carbs as much as possible.
