I'm not really hungry and I'm not sure about a full feeling yet. One day I made a chocolate protein shake and blended it with ice, mootopia and PB2 and it was so good that I think I drank too much. I kept burping up shake and it was a very uncomfortable feeling. I had to walk around for a bit to feel better. So I just measure 4 oz and that seems to keep me from feeling that way. Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app

I also have to do 3 weeks liquid diet.[emoji13] I can drink about 4 oz of my shake at a time... over about 30 minutes. So I divided my shake into 4 "meals" throughout the day. I found bone broth that has protein so I'll drink about 4 oz of that at some point during the day and that gets me to about 60 grams of protein for the day. Oh i also found some sugar free jello in the refrigerated area at Wal-Mart and they have 1 gram of protein lol the shakes take longer for me to drink but if it's just a "clear" liquid it goes down pretty quick and easy. Hey! We're on the other side now lol it's weird. I ended up having 2 hernias that were repaired so I'm curious to see how everyone is doing on recovery too. First three days were not great... everytime I drank my stomach would get so bubbly and cramping pains. 10 days post op and it's much better. I can usually get all or close to goal for protein and fluids. Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. The first 3 days are the hardest. Just stick to it and all those withdraw symptoms will go away soon! Good luck! You can do this! Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app
  5. I also temporarily inactivated my Facebook account. Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. Day 5 here and this morning I was down 8 pounds... It does feel a little easier. For me it's easiest when I work because I stay distracted and busy all day. Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app
  7. Well my shakes give me 39 grams of protein and I drink 2 a day. Then I get one meal of 3 to 4 oz of lean protein and non starchy vegetables. That has given me about 24 grams of protein so I'm getting over 100 grams per day. My instructions said to drink at least 64 oz of water... and I'm definitely not used to it. I just don't think about drinking water but I've done really good and have had my 64 oz everyday since starting the pre op diet. I think my body may be getting used to the water because at first I was going pee like every hour lol but now not so often. It's a 14 day diet and my last day is actually only clear liquids and a bowel cleanse.... [emoji15] Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app

  9. So just wondering about how many calories you all are consuming throughout the day? I'm only getting about 700 and I've lost 6 pounds in 3 days. At this rate I feel I'm going to lose 30 pounds before surgery. [emoji53] Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. Just finishing up day 3 of 14 of my pre-op diet... My diet is 2 protein shakes a day and one 3 to 4 oz lean protein and non starchy veggies meal per day. Surgery date is May 16. Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app

    Any MAY sleevers???

Hi everyone. I'm scheduled to have surgery May 16. I'm on day 3 of my Pre-Op diet. My doctor has me on 2 high protein shakes, 3 to 4 oz of lean protein and "fill the rest of the plate" with non starchy veggies a day. Everyday I get a little more nervous/excited.
