I had my surgery on 4/19 feeling great other then gas pains. I’m still on clear liquids till I get cleared on Thursday on my 1 week post op. Good news is I’ve lost 11lbs so far. Any ideas on getting more protein in? On liquids besides shakes? Thank you

Surgery Twin 4/19 I have my post op appointment tomorrow I’m so ready to be advanced on my diet I’m sick of clear liquids. I get the discomfort when I drink to fast as well. I’ve heard that’s normal. My stomach seems a little bloated hoping that goes away. I’ve lost 14lbs so far I’m pretty proud of my results so far. Sounds like everything is pretty normal what your feeling keep me posted on how your appointment goes.

No pain really I just get this gas pain or feels like heartburn but it’s getting better everyday. I’ve been taking Gax X it helps so much. As of today I’ve lost 14lbs so far. 1 week check up tomorrow super excited for my diet to advance How are you feeling? -

That’s great I’ve lost 11lbs so far my post op appointment is tomorrow I can’t wait to get off of this clear liquid diet ugh. Definitely keep in touch and let me know your progress.
