I'm 33 years old, and have struggled with PCOS since my teens. My main reason for having a VSG was so that my husband and I can have children. We've been together for 15 years and married for 11 of them. We haven't been ready before now, but knowing women with PCOS have a harder time conceiving, I wanted to make sure we had the best shot when the time comes. I'm so blessed to have a husband who is super supportive and has never made a negative remark about my weight despite being given the world's best metabolism (6'3", 165 lbs.).
