That makes my stomach hurt just reading about it...even before surgery, I was unable to drink pineapple juice for many years. Maybe just a green smoothie next time.

I thought it tasted like regular old soy sauce and my picky sweet husband was fine with it as well. -
I LOVE this bra from Soma....it is a front closure full coverage style with a back smoothing cut....super comfortable. I went from 42DD to a 38D in this bra (I still have a ways to go)

Austin, Texas - how did you choose your surgeon?
MIZ60 replied to EB2015's topic in Weight Loss Surgeons & Hospitals
I live in Central Texas and my surgeon was Dr. David Provost at Baylor Scott and White in Temple. He is a bariatric surgery pioneer in TX and has been doing bariatric surgery for many years. After meeting him and checking his credentials (I am a nurse practitioner so I investigate every health care provider I see 🙄) I felt very comfortable with him and had absolutely no post op complications. I had the sleeve in May 2018 since I never had any significant reflux. I think the reflux is the main reason people get conversion since you don't want to be on prilosec long term and you don't want chronic inflammation of your esophagus. There are a couple of others on here in maintenance who had the sleeve converted to bypass and have done very well so hopefully one of them will respond. -

I think here in the US it is "Liquid Aminos" by the same companies, I bought some when HEB was out of the gluten free soy sauce and used it in a stir fry. -
I would recommend the powder dip nail (SNS is the one I get) because it actually strengthens your nails. I developed a sensitivity to the solar nails stuff I used for about 15 years so I tried the gel and my nails were so weak they just broke off even with the gel. Since I have used the powder dip my nails are noticeably stronger when my manicurist soaks them off. I love them.

I used my Black and Decker food processor and it worked just fine. I have had it for several years and bought it on eBay for about $20.00. I also used my 35 year old Oster blender for shakes and it worked well.

I have sold many items on eBay in the last year as I have gotten smaller. I have bought and sold on there for 18 years with no problems. All that is required is to take pictures of what you are selling and provide measurements since sizing is so crazy. I have found that any type of jeans/capris sell very well as well as new with tags items. I only accept Paypal for payment and then I have a Paypal balance which I can use on eBay or a lot of other places. I use Priority Mail so the PO provides the boxes and I print the postage at home so all I have to do is drop the packages at the PO (you can also have them picked up by the PO but I have not tried that). It is like exchanging stuff that is too big to buy what I want. Years ago, the Atkins board had a clothing exchange thread but it did not really take off too well.

So what are you unable to eat now?

The only thing I can not tolerate is iceberg lettuce....I am fine with baby spinach so I just use that in all my salads. -
O & D, I love those colors and it looks very nice but I think it might be a wee bit large for you. If that it what you prefer then of course you can tell me to MMOB. I would like to see you in something a bit more fitted to show your new shape.

Early morning ride to breakfast with the mister....I am SO HAPPY that I am able to do this again.

i don't think so but as we get older and estrogen declines the shape of our bodies changes..typically carrying more weight around the middle so that might be what is going on. I don't think I will ever be able to get mine on again in any situation unless I use some of those clamps like they do on Say Yes To The Dress. Maybe I can do it like a paper doll😜

Where I started...this was about a month pre op....made me cry the first time I saw it.

Intermittent Fasting Daily Menu/Results/Accountability
MIZ60 replied to FluffyChix's topic in Post-op Diets and Questions
No it is not cheating and you are not gaming it. You are beyond your original goal and at a healthy and svelte BMI. You are a ROCK STAR!! -
I wore this outfit to an outdoor birthday party at a restaurant last Saturday. I was so comfortable in it and able to keep the 4 inch rope wedges on for the entire 5 hour evening without busting my ass losing my balance or foot pain.

And yeah, the studies...for sure. Both she and RD1 told me about them that there is no evidence that being midway or lower in your normal zone is healthy for older peeps. It's actually associated with a great all-cause mortality. But ugh...you know? I just wanna be thin. And if I die? I want to die thin (not anorexic). Just thin. Messed up. I know.. FC--I really feel your concerns but please listen to your MD and RDs. You are thin...I can see it and I am sure everyone else does too. A BMI of 23 is a healthy place for you. 130 is just a random number and your body (imho) is telling you that it does not want to go there. How many women at your age and with all your health challenges can rock a size 8 skinny jean. Do you not see how amazing that is because I sure do? You eat a very healthy diet and are getting yourexercise in. I think accepting a range of 130-135 would ease your mind and let you relax and concentrate on being healthy and fit. -
FINALLY some super cute clothes that fit and flatter your body. You need to wear that every day!! The previous outfit was also wonderful!! Soooo happy you are finally recognizing how fabulous you look. Your lymphedema also seems to have resolved. WOO HOO!!!!

That is really an excellent and well written piece. I have been with my husband for 36 years, since I was 25 years old and I can honestly say that imho a relationship is what you make it. Our meeting and falling in love was like a Calvin Klein commercial and I still fondly remember that time. Life has taken us on many wonderful and terrible journeys but the one thing that has been constant is our support of each other. We still have fun together and while our life is boring and mundane at times I can not imagine any other. Sometimes I want nothing more than to change his address but I get over it😊. Retirement (his) has been a real challenge but I have recently reentered the workforce and that has helped me so much. I think the key to maintaining a long, healthy relationship is to pick a really good person and get to know them well before making a permanent commitment. Nothing is perfect but there are also red flags that can not be ignored. I truly wish you the best and hope everything works out for you. Never be afraid...

Back from 2 1/2 mile walk that started at 0630. Have to go early in Texas turbo summer. Posting this to motivate myself to start making more progress.

So I am going to play along a little. This is last night heading out to see our favorite musical duo at an outdoor venue in Georgetown. The sun is appropriate because it was HOT and humid. My little pup always wants to be in the picture😍 I do have a bit of a muffin top here due to the high waisted jeans and strapless bra...working on it! I started this journey in a 22W jeans and these are a 14.

Some of you skinny minnies need to check out these....reminds me of my clothes back in the late 60's/early 70's. I had a couple of pairs from Peter Max that I loved so much. The goal was for your shoes not to show at all😎😜
