  1. You’ll be fine...but if you’re not ready, you’re not ready. You can delay you surgery if you want
  2. Vital protein unflavored
  3. Oh man! The protein powder I used before mixed beautifully in my morning coffee. I loved it, I only bought this one because it was a little cheaper.

    Advice/opinions wanted

Have you had your surgery yet? Weddings truly bring out the worst in people, I’m convinced of it. Could she be jealous that you have lost weight and look great and people might be looking at you instead of her? I know it seems petty, but like I said, weddings turn seemingly normal people into total nut jobs
  5. Do they others beside Cabernet? 14 months out and I do miss wine

    * HELP HOW many days in hospital???

I spent two nights in the hospital; the day of my surgery I arrived in the morning and stayed over and then the whole next day, I went home about 11am on day three. So maybe 52 hours

  13. Multi vitamin twice a day, calcium twice a day, iron, b1, and b12
  14. So I suffer from horrible migraines and my surgeon said that the very occasional prescription NSAID (a few times a year) for a migraine that won’t quit is fine. Let me explain though, these are migraines that require hospitalization so in those times, I have to weigh the possibility of an ulcer against the quality of life during the migraine. I have done it a few times, I don’t recommend it, but you have to make your own choice

    Tell me something good :)

My bypass was the best choice I ever made...128 lbs in 14 months. I’m happy and healthy.
  16. Best: being healthy, happy and in a good place mentally (no more depression meds) Worst: it’s not a cake walk. It takes work. I run, I workout with a trainer, I take my vitamins/supplements, i measure/weigh my food....surgery is not a “fix” It’s a tool. You can sabotage it if you choose to. You have to make yourself accountable

  25. Usually I’m very good about it, however this day (my own fault) I waited way too long between meals and was eating much faster/taking larger bites then I should have (I knew it too). Lesson learned
