  1. Yes, you can and will need to go at least that long without pizza. Short term loss, long term gain
  2. The nurse at my docs office suggested it after 2 years of trying on my own
  3. These are amazing! Keep ‘me coming
  4. Forgot to check-in on Saturday Current weight: 196 lbs Weight lost: 14 this challenge/91 total Still losing Exercise: attended body pump this week. Um, ouch
  5. Took my boys to altitude (trampoline park) today. It’s our Christmas Eve tradition, so they can get out some of their excitement/energy. Today I am bouncing WITH them! Two hours of bouncing and I’m still going strong. They are enjoying watching their silly mom play with them, instead of sitting on the sidelines watching them. I would never have been able to do that 91 pounds ago. Success!!!!

    I cheated [emoji45]

It’s super important to the success of your surgery that you do not stray from your pre-op diet again. You have to fully commit to it. You can do it!!!

    Let the lying begin . . .

I HATE the question “how much have you lost?” I’m so proud of my 91 lbs but I feel like when I say the number people turn into a deer in the headlights trying to calculate “god how fat did she used to be???”

    Let the lying begin . . .

That’s a very rude question to ask someone and then to follow it up with “well, I don’t think you should” is just awful. Ask them if THEY plan on losing any weight!
  10. You are in the thick of it right now. Sore, in pain, unable to eat. Yes, this part is bad! No doubt about it. But each day gets easier, just take it one step at a time. Your body needs a full 6 weeks to heal. Now is not the time to be thinking about another surgery. Allow your mind and body time to make peace with what has been done. Trust me, it gets so much better! -91 lbs, surgery was done on July 10th : )

    Confronting the "mean girls"

Walk passed them and just quietly mention that you overheard them talking yesterday and if they have any questions to swing by your cubicle after lunch and you can chat. Then just walk away. They will be stunned and you will have proved your point

Was told not to lose weight

Maybe what they meant then, was to focus on the new food plan and reteaching yourself to eat and not to focus on losing weight. Naturally it’s going to happen during the pre op stage. Maybe they just meant not to having a weight loss be your main goal

Phew that was a close one!

Today my teaching team did Breakfast treats for the Christmas party. I skipped over bagels, muffins, breakfast pizza, French toast bake and instead had some Greek yogurt and a banana. Never in my life would I have thought I could have done that. No one questioned my choices and I was able to laugh and enjoy the party with everyone else, We are stronger then we think

What I've Received for Xmas from My Bosses

Last day for students today; another DD gift card, more fancy chocolate, M and Ms, and oven mitts. SMH Can people just give teachers what they really want? GC to Target/Walmart, Staples, school supplies, or booze. Lol

Sorry, he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Sounds like he’s trying to pawn you off bc he can’t get to the bottom of what’s wrong

    Bulimia

My best friend is bulimic and for her, throwing up is a conscience effort. It's not like her body just does it. I would imagine what you are suffering from is more of a physical problem. Have you been checked for a stricture, hernia, celiac/gluten intolerance, kept a food journal to look for patterns?
