My on-plan recipe? Take time for me ...ok, I realize it’s not a food recipe, but as a wife, teacher, mom of two, friend, volunteer, etc. I have to remember to make ”me time” a priority!

Not telling, not even my spouse?
NYJenn replied to JessN2251's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
He would tell people??? Sounds like the problem is your husband, not the surgery -
Day nine How do I stay on plan? Plan, plan, plan. I don’t leave anything up to chance. Carry water with me everywhere I go, keep Greek yogurts in the work fridge, if I’m invited to a party, I bring a dish (one that I can eat, so if there’s nothing else there, I know I have a safe option). Fail to plan...plan to fail

Current fitness plan-zero But I’m trying to change that. Write in my planner “working out” on Wednesday and Sunday. Just really having trouble finding motivation these days

Um, pretty sure it was just an oversight. I can’t really see what BP would have to gain from fat shaming a bunch of fat people. Guess what? Secret’s out. We already know we’re fat

Week one update; down 5 lbs Doing so much better with my water intake. Averaging about 75 oz/day. Stayed away from gluten and my tummy was much happier

Lol, I’ve seen his same design a lot. Typical houses built in the 90s I guess

Dietician Stuff...help me not be a jerk...

All I really had was a water goal and a protein goal. Everything else was up to me. If I didn’t eat something I just asked for alternatives. I def think you are overthinking it. -
Eating and drinking over the past month has gotten progressively harder. I saw my team today who predict I either have a stricture or a hernia. I have an upper GI scheduled for the day after Christmas. I have had a super easy recovery and this has really put me in a rotten mood. Everything I eat or drink ends up being vomited up or dry heaved. My throat is raw from repeatedly throwing up and I’m nauseous all the time. I’m a miserable mess right now. I could use some encouragement, esp from someone who has gone through this. Thanks

I’m keeping a strict food journal and tracking my “episodes” He wants to see what my trigger foods might be. Could be gluten, dairy, etc. I’m not finding any trends yet, but it’s been a rough week and my eating has been all over the place. -
Has anyone kept their surgery a secret?

The Gi didn’t show a stricture so no endoscopy was scheduled -
I have zero regrets. Even the tough times have been bliss compared to trying to live my life at almost 300 lbs. (that’s no way to live)
