How many months post op are you?
-
I started using this a month ago and me and my whole family love it! The kiddos even enjoy the chocolate milk too!

I am 6 weeks post op and I am feel so emotional all the time. I know this is a thing but I was wondering when some of you might have started to level off? This is actually causing my anxiety to come out. I have been going to therapy for over 3 years and that helps some. But frankly I’m just overwhelmed with everything! I’ll take all the advise I can get! Thank you! Jude

How long did it take for your incision pain to stop?
jbraney replied to baribetty's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Mine hurt for about 4 weeks. I’m almost at 5 weeks and i still feel a little dull pain if I sneeze of cough hard enough. I think it just depends on the person. Good luck! -
That paper looks familiar! Did you have your surgery at Swedish Seattle? I had mine there!

My dr told me I had to wait 4 weeks, which is this Thursday! 🎉🎉🎉😂

I use this app as well and I love it. They made it so much easier to keep track of all the things you need! [emoji1419] -
Struggling... Am I doing this all wrong?
jbraney replied to time_2_shine's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am post surgery the same amount of days as you! The keeping enough water and food down the recommended amount is hard on me as well. I think in the beginning they know we can only do a little so I just try not to get myself worked up about meeting daily amounts. I keep telling myself it’s going to get easier....I hope it’s true. I do miss chugging lots of water, i am such a big water drinker so having to sip water had def been a challenge. WE GOT THIS, WE DO!!! -
2 week liquid preop diet
jbraney replied to DesertGirl's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I just past my 2 week liquid diet, i lost about 14lbs. However I honestly wouldn’t worry about your weight in this phase because your are carrying a lot of fluids not to mention people get constipated during this stage as well. So your body is retaining lots of extra stuff right now. My dietitian put it to me in a good way. Don’t think of this stage or the 2nd one as a losing weight phase but rather your body is healing phase. Which made sense to me. Hope that helps a little! -
Congrats, that is soooo exciting!!! I had mine about 3 weeks ago! I would recommend packing the loosest stretchy pants you can find. Anything hugging your tummy will feel worse then you will already feel. Good luck! [emoji5]

Constipation During Liquid Diet
jbraney replied to CurlyV's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have no real advise other then to keep taking a stool softener and maybe a fiber supplement you can sprinkle in your foods. I went just over 2 weeks without being able to go #2. I feel your pain. -
HI ALL! I had my VSG surgery the first week of April and I’m hoping to make some friends on the same journey as me! Any advise on life after surgery?!

Hi! Am not doing too bad myself. Although this morning I I woke up with a cramp like feeling in my feel and am paranoid it’s a blood clot, but i don’t want to be dramatic. I haven’t been hungry but very thirsty. I am however over just having liquids! I do feel like my energy is pretty low compaired to before surgery. I can only seem to gather energy for small periods of time then I’m exhausted. I’m thinking once I can eat actual food this will get better?! Anyone else feel that way?
