@YoBL Its awesome you are able to identify the mental hunger thing. That scares me more than surgery, not being able to get past that.

  15. I bought the syntrax nectar sampler on amazon. I did it so that i would have a variety and wouldnt get sick of one or two flavors. I also bought the unjury chicken soup protein powder as a savory option.

  17. Good luck Laura, hope everything goes well!
  18. I am still pre op and picking up items here and there to try. I will be seeing my nutritionist again once I'm approved and can/will ask her as well. I'm curious as to whether a certain soup I tried and really liked is ok. It has 13 g sugar total (3 of which are added, 10 natural) Along those same lines how many grams of natural sugars ARE ok post op? The rule of thumb I was given is to try and stay under 10 grams/serving, but didn't know If that was total or added. Also, if something has say 13 but I am only able to eat a half serving, is that ok? Sorry if I rambled and im really NOT stupid, I swear....lol
  19. I love cottage cheese with halved cherry tomatoes as a sort of savory option.

    Sleep Study

Mine was overnight at a sleep center. I had to stop any caffeine by 4 pm, be there by 9pm, get my wires hooked up, be in bed by 11 and i was out around 6 am. Its not bad, just don't plan to get a good night sleep.
