    Broke my stall!!!

Congrats on getting past your stall. In bit of a stall myself for the last week or so. Was 315lbs for a few day, was only taking in 400-500 calories a day. Up to about 550-650 in the last two days. Along with walking, hoping this will kick the weight loss back into gear. I have lost a pound a day in the last two days but not sure if this means I'm out of the stall. Time will tell.
  10. Congrats and Good Luck!!
  11. Just think of it as a learning process. Your fears are questions that will be answered during this time. This only becomes permanent when you have the surgery. All you are doing at this point is deciding to look into WLS and learning about it. Don't let the nerves get the best of you. Good Luck to you.

    6 DAYS PRE-OP

You've already begun the journey, now there are 6 (or 5 by now) days left before you hit the point of no return. It's not an easy path but it is a worthwhile trip. We have all questioned ourselves and wondered if we're doing the right thing. We obviously already know the answer but by nature second ourselves. Soak everything that is going on during this time in and remember. Don't let worry or doubt get the better of you. Just know that in the end we will be better/healthier because of what we are doing. Best of luck to you on your journey.

  14. Congrats to you!!!! Looking wonderful and very happy. Yesterday was my week 4 mark and I hit the same mark. 342lbs day of surgery 314lbs yesterday. Sunday the 12th marks 1 month by calendar date, hoping to drop 2lbs and make 30lbs lost. Again congrats to you and great job!!! Keep up the GREAT work!!!!!!!!
  15. I say go for it. Maybe try to moderate what you eat, don't just go to town on it. I had my 1st piece of steak today post op. Could have had it anytime in the last week but wasn't in the mood for it. Gotta say, was not as satisfying as I imagined. I don't think my taste buds have changed but things seem to be more bland/not satisfying?????????? Good luck on your 2 week liquid diets @clsumrall and @ChellNC
  16. Way to go, You all look great!!!! Congrats on your progress!!!!

When did you start losing hair?

Question.... I lose hair every time I take a shower. Usually wasn't that much but in the past week and a half I've noticed A LOT more coming out. I've had short hair almost my whole life and have cut my own hair for at least the last 15 years. I started getting tired of doing it so about a year and a half ago I just stopped and let my hair grow out. Since I can remember I would always have strands of hair in my hands when I ran them through washing it. Being new to having long hair I assumed it was just normal. I had asked my wife and she said it happened to her as well. So ....How can I tell if it's due to WLS? Like I said there is A LOT more coming out now but I'm only 4 weeks out and everyone else seemed to be further along when it started. My hair is super thick and I could always go back to short hair so I don't mind either way as long as I don't start balding.

    Pain on surface

I don't use a binder thing but could it be that is the cause of the vertical line. Kinda like when you sleep and you get sleep lines on your arm or face from the sheets? Maybe it squeezes your belly and makes that crease? Sorry I couldn't be more help, good luck.
  19. @hayr995 Good luck with your surgery today. I am sure everything will got go great. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

    One year post op PICS

In a civilized community a person suggesting a woman do something like that is rude. Are you a grown man or a child? If you can't see the issue with it there is no reason for me to try to explain anything. As far as I'm concerned there is no reason for you to be on this forum. Your issues are deeper than anyone here can help you with. Go seek therapy if you even care about trying to be a better human.

Dude are you serious? The more I read your comments the more I wonder if your just some POS troll trying to get a rise out of people here. Why would you think that is an appropriate thing to say to anyone?
  24. Make sure you can take the capsules. I picked up some iron capsules and when I went in for my follow up my doc said they are not good to take because you don't absorb them. I had chewable multi's but thought the capsule would be fine. Wound up switching to chewable iron pills.
