Was going to suggest this. My 2nd week post, full liquids, I made something similar. 1/2 cup FF Greek Yogurt scoop of vanilla protein powder and added water until I got the consistensy I wanted. Delic!!! The water counts towards intake as well as the protein from yogurt and powder.

Awesome job brother. CONGRATS on your success!!!!

That could be it? I don't wear the same clothes in the pics but I'm only in shorts when I take them so not sure if that makes that much of a difference. I think I might see a slight difference in my face but not anything drastic yet. I'll ask my wife if she sees any difference.

I don't see any problem with you eating any of those things post surgery. But the worst of them is probably the cereals. You'll eventually be allowed to eat everything/anything you want. It's just up to you to make the right decisions at that point. I don't think any of the other things you listed are that bad depending on how they are made. I did drink my ass off 2 weeks before surgery and for some reason had a crazy craving for cheese cake about a month and a half pre surgery. After 3 cakes over 2 weeks that went away.

Not using anything specifically for scar treatment but I did put neosporin on my scars two days last week to see if it would help them heal. Mine scabbed like normal but then the scabs came off one by one either because of water from the shower or when I dried myself afterwords. They have shrunk but not completely healed yet. Glue has also come off so they are now open on the surface and I can feel and see the stitches on two of them.

Sorry sweetie, figured maybe you might want a different perspective on what the OP might have been saying. Apparently I was wrong. Didn't mean to upset you. Please excuse me for making a statement on, as I said -

Read it perfectly fine but that was not the focus of your statement. I guess you didn't notice but this is a public forum, one where others read and respond to posts of others. And I damn sure will have a nice day. and hopefully you damn sure will as well. DEAR -

Seems to me maybe she was referring to the way hers look in comparison to the "perfect" image of them usually associated with those of a stripper or porn actress. Rather than classifying a type of person that gets this type of surgery done. Out of her whole story that's what you decided to focus on. hmmmmmmmmmm -
Mine is boring. 3 more pounds and it could have been an Irish Setter. Only a bit more exciting but not as sh!tty as this one.

That is awesome!!!!!!!!!! Congrats to you sir!!!!!! In less than a year at that. It must feel amazing to be there, both physically and emotionally. I can't wait for the day I can say the same. Thanks for the inspiration!!!!

I do this and can't see it yet. I'm not frustrated or bummed I just don't see it. Not sure if it's me or there isn't a physical difference just yet. I know I'll get there eventually so I do it more for a reference in the future when I hit goal. I'll be able to have something to look back on.

I think I'm done. But how do I stop?!

Not near my goal but do have the problem of getting to full on more than one shake plus solid food. It was suggested to me to use protein waters. Added protein and calories and does not fill you up like the shakes. I use Protein2O 60cals and 15g protein. Not sure it will work perfectly, just a thought. CONGRATS and Good Luck to you!!!! -
You'll be fine. No need for nerves to take control. It's really a smooth process, everyone at the hospital will make you feel so comfortable.

Sorry your going through a hard time. Wish I had some type of advice to give you. Just know that all these people here will be a shoulder for to cry on. Somewhat better than having an actual person, you don't have to hold back at all or feel embarrassed. Hope you get it all figured out SOON.

Drinking alcohol daily in excess. The thought of drinking now leaves a nasty taste in my "mental" mouth. haha

Skyrim Icelandic Provisions

I for sure thought you were able to come up with a recipe from something you saw in Skyrim. I was excited to share with my sons as they are huge fans of it. LOL -
That's crazy you passed out. Hope your all good and things get better. Please keep us updated on your outcome/diagnosis. I wish you the best. I also have this happen to me and feel it is related to BP and BP meds. As the weeks have gone by it has been happening more often/more frequently. I find it happens in the hours after I take my BP meds. Right now I'm taking 2 different meds because my BP was not coming under control with just the one. This was of course pre op but I have not seen my PCP since before surgery so not sure if my meds need to be adjusted. I will put in a call to her if things proceed to become more frequent.

Horrible you had to go through that. You are obviously a very strong person for biting your lip and not going apesh*t on them when they walked out the door. Glad you decided to do something about it. They shouldn't get away with it and be able to hurt others they way they hurt you. Granted they didn't know you were in earshot but regardless It's not something they should be so comfortable doing. Whatever the outcome Congrats on your success in all you have been through. -
One week before surgery!!
J San replied to NuLife4Me2018's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Congrats on getting here. Don't let the nerves get the best of you. Concentrate on the excitement. It's a new challenge in your life but one that you do not have to go through alone. Just from this site alone you will get tons of encouragement and support, as well as knowledge from those that have been through it before you. Anything you may go through, any question you may have, someone here will have an answer for you. Best of luck to you on your upcoming day and a healthy speedy recovery!!!! -
That's a sh*t situation to be in. I would have blown my top and went in on that rep. It sucks that you have to go through it but you know you'll come out on top and get your surgery done. Don't be like I would, what's that saying about honey......

Logging your daily intake of food and etc.?
J San replied to The Preacher's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Your probably aware but when you click serving size you can click a drop down menu that allows you to change the value. It doesn't always give you the option that you want but gives you some options. I'm constantly using google to convert types of measurements to make it somewhat easier to figure out my amounts. -
Love these types. Guess it's just how I am. Be blunt and don't pull punches. Watched some of Jersey Jules' videos the other day and on one of them he said he had a good friend call/text him daily and call him a "fat SOB" or something to that effect. It gave him a positive mind set to keep going to his surgery date. Strange maybe but whatever works, right.

Congrat's @theresahyatt19 . Getting the approval is the part that makes most of us sweat. Getting the date is great. It gives you something to count down to for getting to "the other side" "getting on the losers bench" "the start of your new chapter" .... and so many others.
