Had my surgery yesterday! Surprise surprise, a had a really bad Hernia that had to be repaired before they do my sleeve! But I’m doing great! Some pain but from the hernia repair, but otherwise doing well! Sipping liquids . Walked three times since yesterday! They are good at my hospital to get your pain meds to you! I’m so excited to begin this new journey! Hope everyone who have had their surgeries are doing well!😘😊

My surgery is Wednesday the 25th! Don’t get the time until tomorrow. I’m having the gastric sleeve! So excited!😊

I started my diet last Wednesday! My surgery is July 25! A Gastric Sleeve. I’m excited and scared but looking forward to the future and a much healthier life!

I’ve seen clear protein drinks mentioned here! Try those, perhaps!😊

My post op diet is the same, starting with clear liquids and progressing to the next level each week!

I start the pre op diet Wednesday! Surgery the 25 of July! Getting a little nervous!!

I just got my surgery date this morning! It’s July 25, 2018!! I am so excited to get this done! Praying everything goes well. I have my pre op appointment with the Bariatric surgeon tomorrow! Then I’ll probably have to start the pre op diet! 😊😁😀

Hi everyone, I’ve completed all of my pre requisites, but still need an approval letter from my PCP! Then hopefully my surgery date! I’m getting a little discouraged. I hope this is normal. I just want to go to the next step! I’m getting sick of dieting and no real results and I’m starting to want to eat everything!

I’m so excited, I had my second visit with the Cardiogist. There was a little bleep on the 1st and 2nd EKG’S, so I had to have a Sonagram a week and a half ago! My follow up was this morning! The dr said I have the heart of a 20 yr old. Pretty good for a 68 yr old, too bad my body feels like an 80 yr old!😂 Tomorrow morning I’m calling the Bariatric dr to see how soon I can have my surgery scheduled! Be nice the end of July but I doubt it. Seems like the merry go round turns slow sometimes! But I’m still getting excited!

That’s wonderful! I had to have a heart Sonagram yesterday and will have a follow up with the heart dr the end of June. Saw the Nutritionist on Tuesday which was my final nutrition visit! She released me for surgery. So did the Shrink!😂. If everything goes well with the heart dr, I should be scheduled the end of July!! I’m so excited! Plus at my last nutrition visit, I lost 2 more lbs! 10 lbs since I started in April! I’m currently at 220 but my goal weight is 145! Good luck all of lucky people scheduled for June!😊😊

I had my last nutrition appointment yesterday. Today, I have a cardiac sonogram. It’s supposed to be just precautionary because my EKG had a little bleep on it! I pray nothing is wrong. I don’t want to postpone my surgery for anything. Have to wait and see on the 25th when I have the follow Up! I did at least lose a couple more pounds.

I don’t have my date yet, but it looks like the end of July!, I’m getting so excited!

I’m supposed to have my surgery this summer but don’t have a date as yet! I have 3 more appointments left, one is today with the psychologist. This is a follow up! Hopefully, this will go forward to the last 2 appointments and then my surgery date!😊

I’m not scheduled for my surgery yet, but hopefully in the next few weeks I’ll get a date! I had a bleep on my EKG and they’re going to do a Sonagram to check my heart a little closer. I don’t want this to change my date or cause other tests!
