They call me "Biggie" and know me as "yosoyelmaspesao". My weight loss journey started on January 12, 2017. I had to wait 6 months to get my surgery. And in that time I had doubt, fear, worry, that I wouldn't go through with the surgery. But finally, my surgery date came. I was scheduled for July 3, 2017. My surgery came and went because my surgery was canceled. Then more doubt and fear came. And once again I was scheduled for surgery for August 17, 2017 and then rescheduled again for August 21, 2017. But, my surgery was finally done. I was sleeved. At first everything was great. Then slowly the complications started to creep up. First I couldn't hold anything down, then a horrible pain on my side. We come to find out my gallbladder isn't functioning. So, back to the operating room. Mind you I'm a person that had never had surgery prior to the sleeve. But, it was removed and things got better. Right now I'm almost 8 months into my surgery. Do I regret it? Nope. Would I do it again, yes. Even with all the complications, I've dealt with. This surgery, this tool has given me a second chance at living. It's giving me an opportunity to accomplish goals, to reach milestones. I'm going to only keep moving forward. Here I my stats: My Hw was 582LBS, my Sw was 540LBS, and my current weight is 445LBS.
