My weight loss has slowed too, but I am at the stage where I can increase my workout pace. We just need to stay positive and keep doing what we need to do. I do think compliance is important, but our attitude is too. We got over the first hurdle of actually having surgery. We can get through stalls!

My surgery is May 21 also! We got this. We deserve to be healthy.

I have found that I love Syntrax Nectar. The unflavored dissolves well and I can add it to my crystal light or soup or whatever. (I haven't had my sleeve yet, but I am getting ready) The fuzzy navel is really good too. There are about 15 flavors, but I have not tried any others. They even have a sample pack. I will say the unflavored is only 10 g Protein per scoop. The fuzzy navel and other flavors have 23g per scoop. https://www.si03.com/nectar.php This is the Syntrax site and great for info. Amazon has it a lot cheaper.

I have my pre op appointment on May 10 and will get my date then. I have been on his pre op diet for a week and a half, so I am pretty sure I will get the May date I desire! H- 5'3" Age: 52 HW - 267 11/15/2017 CW - 233 4/28/2018. I am diabetic, and I have SLE and asthma. My left knee is bone on bone and the orthopedic surgeon won't touch it until I lose weight. I am ready ready ready to get this done. I know it will greatly improve my quality of life not to have a Backstreet Boy for a backside. I am not sure about goal weight. I want to be realistic, but I don't want stop just because I get there if there is more that I can do. Sorry for the novel!

So they are doing my EDG May 11 and surgery the 25th or the 30th. This hurry up and weight so the weight will hurry up and go is making me nuts! I have been cutting out sugar and cutting way back on caffeine and I have been a bear. My son said he is about ready to hand me a twinkie and a diet coke so I will be nice! Trying hard to keep the grumpy to myself.

Thank you both for encouraging word! I swim for exercise and try to walk my dogs frequently. I am trying to eliminate sugar and caffeine and I see that it's a good thing I started now! It is so hard! Jules1, we have to take baby steps. Exercise will get easier by the day after surgery. I am sure your boys just want a healthy mom. Frust8 thank you for you upbeat positivity!

I am so glad there is online community for us! I have systemic lupus. There are days I cannot do much more than let the dogs out and get the mail. It's nice to do this on my phone. I have been researching vitamins and protein drinks. There are tons! I am so ready for the diabetes to be under control. I am ready have energy again. So please send good vibes that I get a date Friday! The surgery coordinator said 2nd half of May or first part of June. Forgive me for the rambling words! I am just so excited and so ready and my friends and family try to supportive, but mostly, they don't get it. Anyway, I hope everyone has a great week!
