  1. The week before I technically had to start I started this with just one healthy meal a day so I wouldn’t go in shock. I know my brain/body and have to ease into things. So the transition wasn’t too bad. Good luck!
  2. Alright now, take it easy. I can’t sleep on my back so I have been trying to sleep on the side opposite of my stomach. It’s too tender the other way. But I can’t drive until after cleared by doc at post op visit. So you be careful driving so soon!
  3. Awww man I hope you feel better! I’m only at 3 days and still sore but decided not to take the pain meds Cuz it’s makes me tooooo sleepy. Pain is okay long as I don’t move or lay on it. At least you’re almost through your first week. You should be feeling better in no time!!
  4. I’m right here with you. I am resting today and trying to get my water in. I know I’m not getting enough in and felt lightheaded this morning. Take it easy!
  5. Lol yes. Tummy and throat. When will it stop lol I can hear Everything going down.
  6. I know. It was the worst. Had me asking what did I do to myself. Today is much better. Thank God it gets better day by day!
  7. I’m not puréeing anything. I’m following the liquid diet now
  8. I walked every hour or two. That didn’t help with gas. It make me extremely nauseous. And I would vomit mucous because not much fluids were in me. But now taking the nausea pills I am about to walk around the hour much better. Walking with the pills seem to work best or me. “Dry heaving” is the worst with raw incisions.
  9. Today is much better that yesterday. I couldn’t keep anything down. But I’m taking gas-x chewable, nausea med, pain med, protonix, and a stool softener. Once I was able to pass gas this morning I began to feel much better. I can’t drink much but I’m won’t force it. It’s still 1 oz or 2 every hour or so for me. Just happy it’s staying down today.
  10. I can’t even imagine trying to get my vitamins in. I’m trying to get the pain, nausea, protonix, and gas meds in just to stay comfortable. I feel like it’s not enough room for anything. I can hear the fluid going down and feel a little pain when it hits the stomach. So I’m trying like 1 oz or 2 have hour or so. My pre op diet was all shakes no meat and oatmeal for breakfast with sugar free jello or popsicle in between. The day prior or surgery and they day after I was on clear liquid. Today I’m on full liquid and it’s a struggle. I’m halfway through a shake. I had about 6 spoons of cream based soup. The nausea meds and gas-x has helped greatly today. Unfortunately the staff at the hospital were not giving them to me on schedule so I was really uncomfortable until I got home and was able to stay on schedule with them.

  12. I’m 2 days out I was on clear liquids the day of and the day after. Today was my first day of the full liquid diet which is to last about 2 weeks. If finding it hard to eat. I’m maybe halfway through a premier protein shake for the whole day.
  13. Hi all, I’m new to the app. But just for sleeve Friday. I’m home now and on the first day so full liquids. I’m finding it hard to eat/drink much of anything but at least it’s staying down today. First day out was horrible!
