i dont mind baking when im off liquids....maybe we have to do a picnic this summer. im renting a place in canada, if people dont mind going across the border....its near the beach

well i hope all the mothers have a happy mothers day. i have a ough weekend ahead....well being on liquids i have a good friends 50th surprise birthday party tonite...and im bringing 2 appetizers...is it rude to bring my own soup and to have my protein shakes. tomorrow everyone is working so we are celebrating mothers day tuesday evening...anyone have suggestions for a place that has great soup...lol

well i went in for my appt. i saw barb and i told her what they told me on the phone. she showed me the note they gave her with the info and they said i asked about a sleep apnea test not a swallow study...can you believe it. i had the swallow study. hoffman looked at it and said either my pouch is dialated or i have a prolapse. the worst being i may need to have the band repositioned. he completely emptied my band and for the next 2 weeks im on liquids. he told me if im really starving i could have a very little bit of cottage cheese, he wants everything to pretty much go through the band. so i had soup for dinner and back to the protein shakes. i knew something was wrong. i had been on this give me a fill...im too tight...getting an unfill. while im not happy with what is going on, at least i know what is going on. but i feel good, but of course it is nurses week and we are supp to have a luncheon tomorrow and of course i was supp to go out for dinner this weekend...oh well

no they didnt call me back....so he will get an earful on tuesday

yes im a nurse. well i gotthe scriptin themailtoday and it says the test is to see ifsleep apnea is resolved from weight loss....wtf. i want to see that too but wanted to wait till i lost about 5 more pounds

id like to know that answer too...lol...must have missed that day in nursing school

well the home saturation is checking the oxygen level in my blood. i have an appt on the 4th and when hoffman asks me why i didnt get it done, im going to tell him. they piss me off that she changes it without talking to me

well i called them today because hoff told me if i wasnt better to have a swallow study done before my next appt on may 4th. well i called to get a script because im not that much better. barb tries calling me back but i was at a meeting at the time. so i call them back and they tell me barb decides to change the test cuz the swallowing study wont show anything and orders a home saturation test instead. and she didnt even talk to me. now id like to know how that test will tell them the position of my band, which is why he said to get it. aaaaarrrrgggghhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well., its just plain wierd...i had 4.5 cc in my band at one time and ow basically nothing

lol...im not sure anymore. barb thought for sure taking some out id eat too much and gain but ive lost about 4 lbs. i dont get the reflux anymore. dr h told me im just very sensitive to fills, but i have less in now then when it was put it. i only have 1cc in my band

vicki, some days are good, some not so good. still eating small amounts. i will prob call next week to set up a sallow study before my next appt

well actually i was out by about 1045. they think i may have had something stuck and that caused inflammation. they checked my band and i only had 2cc in it, and they took out 1cc. i have to go back in 6 weeks if im still too tight i need to have a swallowing study

mine is at 915am...they told me hoffman is triple booked, so im sure i will be aiting a long time
