i was lucky, i didnt have a drain, which i was actually suprised. he told me he puts drains in everyone now

i havent seen too much about difficulties....there is a woman i pm on gastricsleeve who answered questions for me, she was a former bander. her name is tiffykins, if you pm here she will answer questions. the thing that impressed was no one had regrets. i think the sleeve does what we hoped the band would. i think some do well with the band, i have a friend that does very well. dont get me wrong, i have no regrets with my band

dr miller is great, i know him through a friend. he is an awesome guy. great seeing u there. i dont think ill be at the next support group meeting

vivki im down to 155, which means from the beginning ive lost 99 lbs, of course its not my preop weight, but its the weight i was when i started the process. i met nbg from walking and the support group

i dont feel well and usually end up throwing it up bg

im doing well....everyone is telling me how thin i look, ill never think of myself as thin. i know ive lost a ton of weight but i dont think im skinny. the world is so small, i ran into nbg at the dentist...can u believe it. the sleeve is working well...im finally taking a bite or two of the dense protein...very small amts and doing okay. working out and trying to be good....lol

i felt the same way. i started having problems with the band and then got a slip. i was sleeved june 28th and it has been good. i have had some issues with dense protein but im able to eat most everything else. im really never hungry. i sometimes get head hunger though. if i think im hungry the first thing i do is think when was the last time i ate and if it hasnt been that long i tell my self i just ate. you still have to pay attention to the signs that u are full, cuz u get full fast. i dont regret my band at all, i lost a ton of weight

cant believe u got in so quick...i had to wait 4 weeks, and my choices were my birthday or 1 month later, so i opted for my birthday. hopefully my next birthday will be better

glad it went well for u vicki...i wasnt hungry after, but i wasnt with the band either. just take it easy and sip slowly. keep in touch

i am going to do plastics...cuz i hate this hanging skin on my tummy and my batwings

maddie, when i started out i wore a size 24w, i had the lap band and got down to a size 14w. 3 months ago i had a revision to the sleeve and im wearing a 12 but i haveso much hanging skin in my abdomen. honestly if it wasnt for that id prob wear a 6 or 8. my clothes are so big in my butt and legs, but i have to have the bigger size due to my gut

it seems to be....i still cant eat dense proteins, but dr. hoff doesnt seem to be concerned. he told me basically no chance of a leak anymore and he told me if i lose 20 more lbs i can start thinking of plastic surgery and i could have a flat belly next summer. now that would be a nice birthday present

ill send you my number vicki and you can call me. im very happy with the sleeve. basically they cut away most of your stomach, but they dont touch your intestines so you have no absorption problems. but you have to follow the rules, i can eat very little. im still on soft foods as i cant tolerate dense protein. there is no overeating at all. ill send u my number on fb and you can call me
