    Baking with Protein supplements

Wow, that is expensive! Not sure I'm willing to shell out $61 for a product I may not like. I read the bad reviews and was impressed to see that someone responded to every one of them.

    Baking with Protein supplements

Yeah, I've tried a couple of recipes and they came out dreadful - very dry. Like chewing on a dry sponge.

    Starting out

Relief from hunger pain is mixed. Some people feel no true hunger (but can still have wicked cravings) and others feel the same hunger as before. I don't think there's any way to know which side you'll fall on until after surgery. You're doing the right thing in preparing now, well before surgery. You don't want to wait until surgery to wean off sugars and caffeine. Follow up with the surgeon's office. Usually they have some sort of diet that they want you on now. Good luck!

Your surgery was 2 weeks ago?
  10. @mystars.0110 Wow, you're doing this together! That's awesome! (Although since men lose faster, he should have been chivalrous and given you the head start! )

Sky dive for the first time!

    Initial Paperwork

Yeah, you're overthinking it! Unless you plan to tell them that you need to lose weight to fit through the door on an alien spacecraft or something!

Congrats! Sounds like you've collected a whole basket of NSVs!

    Isopure zero carb

Don't worry about stocking up too much before the surgery. Have just enough for about a week. Then see if your tastes have changed.

    Isopure zero carb

Well, "You didn't have MINE"! I like Protein20. LOL!

Do you just want a flavored drink or do you want one with protein? You have a both here.

    Intermittent Fasting

How do you get in enough protein in 4 hours? I can't wrap my head around that.

85% of my stomach remove (sleeve)

What is a reinforced sleeve? I haven't heard of that one. Glad you're feeling better, though.

    How many calories per day??

Perfectly normal. It will increase gradually as you tolerate more foods.
  22. Orchids&Dragons

    Feeling discouraged.

First off, congrats on your new baby! I hope it is happy and healthy. Second, lots of us moms know how you feel. Even though I was sleeved this year, when I had my daughter 26 years ago, I had just lost over 40 lbs. on Weight Watchers and I regained some of it. Your big challenge is going to be exhaustion. Your body has just accomplished an amazing, difficult task and it's tired. Add lack of sleep and maybe the demands of nursing, and you are one tired Mommy. Try not to push too hard, too early to get all the weight back off. Take it slower and steady. You've been through a lot. I know you want to fix this immediately, but you don't want to get sick by stretching yourself too thin. Good luck.

    Failing

The protein waters are not as sweet as the shakes. I like Protein2O, myself. Still drink one every morning as I drive to work.

Best of all to you as well!
