    How much is to much?

Wanda's right. The liquids will go right through your pouch. No problem here! (Merry Christmas!)

    Heartburn

Maybe? Well, it's mid-day on a Wednesday. Great time to put in a call to your surgeon's office and ask!

    That's gorgeous, love the color!

    Prayers requested and gratefully accepted

I'm so sorry, Cyndie. I know how difficult this is. Praying that the cancer hasn't spread.

    Heartburn

Since you're having trouble at night, ask if you can take the acid reducer at night instead of morning or even twice a day.

    Heartburn

Do you take them twice a day? Do you drink a lot shortly before bed? How late is your dinner? Sorry about the 20 questions, but I'm kind of a subject matter expert on heartburn.

    Do Compliments Make You Uncomfortable?

It all depends on how I feel about myself that day. Some days I love compliments, other days I cringe.

    Heartburn

Some doctors automatically prescribe 1-3 months of acid reducers after was to help your stomach heal. Ask your team. Good luck!

    SMH

How about people who just won't call their surgeons office with questions? You trusted these people to reconfigure some of your most important parts, but you won't ask them a question?

Get back to weighing/measuring all food and logging all day, not just until about 3.

I would, too, but my bowels disapprove ☹️

    Straws

Give it a try. If you get gas pains, stop.

    You're there!
  17. We moved to Texas in '72, so I was here for the heyday. It's just that southern home-cooking is nothing like northern home-cooking
  18. As a transplanted Yankee, I never understood the appeal of Luby's. I didn't like their food at all. That said, Kitty may claim to be from SoCal, but she seems to have a strong affinity to deep south eating! I think she's got some Southern roots in her family tree!
  19. @sillykitty 😂 Your attempt at the veggie tray was LAME! Even for you!

I so wish they could've operated on our brains, rather than our stomachs. We treated the symptoms, not the cause!

Re RD, I already know what to eat. Therapist has a better shot at making me follow my plan.

I'm deeeep into diet fatigue and haven't hit my first goal yet! I'm having so much trouble making myself give a sh!t. I log 3/4 of the way through the day, but not finish it, I've started letting treats slip into my diet, UGH! I know better but I'm so burned out. I did start back with the therapist, hoping to get back on track.

    SAXENDA RESULTS

It did absolutely nothing for me.

    Staples

I asked why and was told that the most likely reason was time. If a surgeon intends to super glue the skin, he puts in two layers of the dissolving stitches underneath. If he uses staples to close, he puts in just one layer of dissolving stitches. Of course, there are also people who are allergic to super glue
