That's excellent! But you really can't compare. Some people hold on to swelling much longer than others.

@JennieJuniper You might try out this thread on intermittent fasting. Quite a few people have been using it with success. Good luck. -

Why jowl bacon vs. regular? The fat percentage or something else? I've never even heard of pork jowl bacon before! I love hearing how other people cook! I've never used pepper vinegar, either! -

My insurance paid, no questions asked. Hope yours does too. -
I don’t know. I think all bread is something I want to avoid but when I tried the egg white psyllium husk bread it tasted more like egg than anything so that might be ok. Will it crisp up at all on a sandwich press? Or is there anything low or no carb that will? I want to avoid carbs and bread. It will be in my best interest I think. I have bought some of the zero carb breads but they're still in the freezer. (I think I'm afraid of them, to be honest.) So I don't know whether they toast up or not.

I'm not sure what you're saying is a trigger. Is it just "real" bread that you intend to avoid? Or just the carbs? Because the problem is if bread is your weakness, you may not do any better with a substitute. A good substitute may trigger the same cravings as the real thing. And a poor substitute isn't worth eating 😥

Sorry to ask so many things

This is pretty common at this stage since you're only ingesting liquids. Watch for signs of dehydration. That's your big concern right now. If your doctor's office has someone on call, you can ask whether it's ok to take something like Imodium. -

SWEET JESUS MY HAIR!!!!!
Orchids&Dragons replied to Mrs. Hayes's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
It is devastating. We don't realize how much our hair affects our self-esteem until it falls out. Mine got really thin, but it was coming in as thick as ever after about 10 months. I took biotin and L-lysine. (((hug))) -
Yeah!!!!!! Congrats!!!!
