Does your surgical team have a therapist to help you work with your emotions? It really does help a lot. I'm fascinated that they converted your RnY to a sleeve. I didn't know that could be done. -

I'm a greens kind of girl, too. I use protein bars/chips/cookies at least twice a day or I wouldn't get close to my protein goals. -

Best wishes on your upcoming surgery. It will be interesting to hear about someone doing it with their significant other - at the same time! For me: pre-op - 12.6 1 mo. post op - 30.6 total 4 mo. post op - 68.6 total 6 mo. post op - 83.4 total 1 yr. post op - 120.0 total 1 yr. + 1 week post op - hit goal 150#, total loss of 122.6 -

I did Protein20, as well. I diluted it 50/50 with ice water. Sam's Club carries this brand. -

Before surgery, I shared only with those people I felt sure would be supportive. (This did not include my MIL). The rest found out later. It's entirely your choice. -

Bourbon chicken, rice and cucumber/tomato salad. The tomatoes were fresh from my neighbor's garden. I was feeling way too ambitious and overloaded my salad plate. I ate all the chicken and most of the rice but only a little of the salad. Hubby took care of the afters -

Congratulations and thanks for all your inspiring and encouraging posts as well as the fun challenges! I've been on here since Apr '18, about 6 weeks after my surgery. Wish I'd found the site sooner!
