I'm so bummed! Went out yesterday hoping to buy boots - even wide calf if I have to - couldn't zip them past the ankle 😭 Edema sucks! Had to get booties. They're cute, but not what I had my 🧡 set on. I know I could get the Ugg style, but I wanted dressy-looking ones.

I didn't have to because mine wasn't considered a WLS, it was to fix the GERD. If yours gets presented that way, you may not have to do the WLS requirements. I hope it works out for you. -

My approval from Cigna was less than 10 days after my upper GI, showing severe GERD. I had the surgery within a few weeks after that. I hope yours goes as quickly and that you feel much better. -

I am so sorry that you're experiencing such difficulties. I hope it all gets better soon. Even with complications (nowhere near as bad as yours), I'd do this again in a heartbeat. 50 years' worth of loss/regain was enough to tell me that I was never going to get to a normal weight on my own. -

Reminder for those cleaning out their closets and plan to donate - Especially in metropolitan areas, there are women's social services that work to get women back in the workforce. They can always use work/interview-appropriate attire in ALL sizes. You can also check with your church.
