Yes, that's the Ancho Salmon at Chili's. It was delish! Don't know if I'll be able to get it down when it's microwaved. May just eat it cold.

Birthday dinner! This is my leftovers after I ate! Hilarious. I'll have lunch all week! Ate about 2 oz. of food, but 12 oz. of wine!

Cheez its, my little snack

I'm the same. Most things I can eat in moderation, even if I like them quite a lot. Other things just set my craving meter to "oh, what the hell"! -
People often don't comment when things are going great, just when they have a problem!

Congrats on your surgery. Sounds like you're doing great. Exercise-wise, you're just one of the lucky ones, enjoy! Don't go skydiving or anything, but so long as you're being reasonable, great! Some people have no problem with liquids, others do. Same with hunger.

Just one more example of how different our bodies are. We've all got to find what works for us. -

New study, that fat is the cause of adiposity

I agree, something is flawed here. For what it's worth, back in the 80's or 90's Weight Watchers had a fat-and-fiber stage. The plan was very low fat, at least XX fiber (I don't recall the amount). Other than that, you could eat pretty much whatever you wanted. I gained weight on that sucker. Fat isn't my temptation. It's salty/crunchy like pretzels, many of which are fat-free. I was in heaven, except for the whole gaining weight thing. -
Everyone's different. Do what you can. 30 minutes a day is great.

Cheez its, my little snack

Gretchen Rubin is an author who posts a lot on LinkedIn. She writes about psychological stuff and tendencies. I'm what she calls an "abstainer", meaning that I am far more successful abstaining from things that really tempt me than trying to eat in moderation. She calls people who can do that "moderators". It is very easy for people in one camp or the other to assume the whole world is the same as they are. But that's a mistaken assumption. Abstainers don't have to avoid all temptations, just the ones that they know trigger out-of-control responses. -

And that's great if you eat the 100 cal bag and are good with that. I won't (and I suspect Jess, as well). One 100-calorie bag just leads to a few more 100 cal bags. I will fixate on the bags in the pantry until they are gone. Most things I can eat in moderation, Cheez Its aren't one of them. -
He's adorable! What a sweet face!

What are your favorite vitamins?

I can swallow anything so long as I can drink with it. Even the huge calcium pills. But thanks for thinking about that! -
What are your favorite vitamins?

I'll try those when I run out of Flintstones. I guess I was under the impression that the chewable vitamins were forever to ensure we got the most out of them. But, I'll be happy to be wrong about that one. -

Man, I won't even think of taking vitamins at night. I tried once and it was terrible! -
I had to buy a seat cushion to use with my computer chair at work. My noassatall disease has completely caught up with me and my butt hurts! It wasn't very fluffy before and now it's downright scrawny!

Holy crap! That's awesome! You must have a great waist for that style to flatter you!
