    Arm Lift and Tummy Tuck

Best of luck. Keep us posted. Also get some good quality calendula oil. It really helped with my healing, later I used a ointment formula. Also arnica is great for bruising.

    Arm Lift and Tummy Tuck

I had both at the same time. Everything in life is easier if someone helps you but Like you I had to count on myself, so it’s not impossible just challenging till you figure out the way to do things on ur own, like get up and switch sides and and .... very very very slowly though. Some pointers -Pain meds are highly needed and helpful so you can manage. And you can’t do without them at the beginning even if you have help -don't shower if you are alone. I had my mother help me with that the first time. otherwise clean the wounds well and apply the medication or whatever the doctor instruction is. - plan your meals before the surgery because you need a high protein diet to help with the healing. It’s extremely important. I had good people who cooked and brought me food, I ordered in on some days and toward the second week I would cook easy quick things, like eggs for example. - laxative is your best best best friend for the first two weeks. For me the pain of constpitaion brought me to tears and wouldn’t let me sleep. So add some fiber to your diet to help as well - I set up my living room as my space, pillows for my back cuz u can’t lie flat at the beginning and pillows under my knee. Tv was my mindless entertainment to keep me company. I watched so many movies - wear your spanx 24 hours - cheer yourself on everyday because you have reached the plastics phase, you made it, it’s just hard when you are near the finish line. - check yourself out in the mirror and enjoy the view best of luck. You can do this 💪

    Bariatric to Cosmetics

Not sure what you are looking for in terms of advice exactly. Post my sleeve, I pretty much didn’t eat and stuck with a the liquid diet followed by soft food for 3 months to help me detox my body and start a new relationship with food. For me that was the secret to the success of my surgery I feel. It’s been 5 years and whenever I stray I remember how I and my body felt after those 3 months and that always seems helps me go back on track. Took me 4 years to let go of the weight and 1 year to stabilIze and just had my plastics done recently. I would say please don’t jump into plastics, not only because it’s expensive but also because it’s way more painful than any bariatric surgery and the recovery process is seriously tough. Hope this helps
  6. 2 months ago I had an arm lift and abdomoplasty. While it’s a painful recovery process and will take a while for the scars to heal yet, I feel great and I am very happy with the results. I look like me finally and I am enjoying my body that I have worked so hard for. So my advice is be realistic about the process but do it.
  7. Thank you. I have tons of it just lying around
  8. My ulcer and acidity are my daily nightmare too
  9. I have the same experience. Detoxing and listening to my stomach made me give up foods that I can no longer digest. I crave that delicious steak but can’t diges it for days. With my post op I’m trying to follow a diet of protein and fiber, in various forms, liquids or solids. And natural remedies for my skin coupled with supplements .. hopefully someone can inspire some more solutions, it’s only day 5
  10. Thank you so much. It seems like there’s a 101 scar screams and some cost a fortune. I’m currently using natural remedies, arnica and calendula to help sooth my irritated skin. With the diet, it’s a challenge with my sleeve to eat all this protein. So I am trying liquids and soups. Hope it’s enough so excited to get rid of Heba bloating and see my new body
  11. Darling if any of us had the discipline we would be in need of surgery, so calm down, nothing is wrong with you. Every person struggles differently with this change of lifestyle. And if there were quickfixes we wouldn’t be here. Some tips that helped me 1) the surgery will not save you, it’s the tool that will help you save you. So remind yourself everyday of what you want out of this. Everyday, like every day .. eating time was a good reminder time for me ( i used to look at food and literally say, you will be here tomorrow and eat what I could and what was good for me, salads still don’t count as meals but I eat them hehe) 2) define the voices. There’s brain hunger and stomach hunger, brain hunger has no end. With every craving, bring ur attention to ur stomach and see how it feels. I still do this till today and it’s 5 years .. it really helps 3) try eating every 3- 4 hours ...eat what you want but in the quantity ur stomach can, shouldn’t be more than a few bites. Give the rest away to someone in need until u figure out how much to order or cook or eat leftovers over time 4) drink clear fluids 30 minutes afternoon your meal, and onwards. But don’t mix drinking with eating. Big no no 5) remind urself that you are losing weight and enjoy it. Enjoy every ounce u let go of. 6) as much as u need to be attentive to your food intake and take responsibility for yourself; u very much need family support, they need to get on board and understand that they have a role too. Support is key 7) eliminate negative self talk.

    Surgery tomorrow!!!!!

Totally normal and justified. It’s an exciting and brave move, so be emotional because you just made huge decision that will better your life. Emotional is good. Best of luck
  13. I find that sometimes I eat more than other depending on the kind of food, me when I consume too much sugar I defiantly gain some weight. Here’s my advice, embrace ur worry over stretching your pouch. That worrisome voice was my red light over 5 years that beeped every time I over did something or strayed away from the reasons why I did this surgery. This way you will pay attention and be mindful at the meal time of quantity and quality. I also found that after the liquid and soft food diet, there are foods that I couldn’t eat anymore or digest and that helped me stick to what I could easily eat.
  14. Hi, thank you for sharing all your experience. I considering doing the TT and arm lift to start with, your experience is quite helpful. How do the scars looks like now after some time has passed ?
