The only really I did stick to it was because I didn't want my surgery to be more complicated. My Dr.will sew you back up if you don't do it. He said it is to decrease the fatty deposits in your liver. He has to clamp your liver is fatty it makes the operation more difficult. Your liver it firm and not soft or plaible. The diet make you much easier to work on. Where do you live? I ate allmy bars ughhhh!
If you can take on anymore, I would love for you to me my buddy. I am scheduled to get banded on 6/3. Started 244, current 230 goal is 160. I am on my second week for Optifast 800. I ate through all my bars and had to pick up some comprable.
I am geting banded on 6/3. I can tell you, yes it's hard. I had a mini breakdown at work. Literally cried at my desk and yelled I'm hungry. I can really do that at work. Everyone has been really supoortive. Dr. Floch put me on Optima 800. 4 shakes and 2 bars a day. This is the hardest thing I've ever done. It got so bad I was craving shredded lettuce w/ vinegar. I did make one mistake. I ate all my bars and i had to buy the sllimfast 4 hour bar. i think i will come clean and call the office tomorrow and tell them what i did. i started at 244. i am now at 230 naked in the am. I took sleeping pills to take my mind off the hunger. i also drank a lot of water. more than what was recommended. it really helped. i was fortunate enough to get my gallbladder removed last Thursday. They really helped me keep my mind off things. Chewing sugarless gum helps too. Good Luck!
