  1. Welcome! I've added you to the member list too!
  2. I can sort it, it's very different than excel. Probably a trademarked process by Microsoft lol I tried to edit to add what procedure I was having but I couldn’t 🙁 I'll add it in for you
  3. We're all in the same boat. Not boring at all. I've added your surgery to the list.
  4. I am bypass as well if anyone is interested lol I care! I’ll add that in just a bit.
  5. That's one of things we're here for. Vent away!
  6. For those that can't edit, below is what I've found in the troubleshooting section. But if you still can't edit or just don't want to go through the steps below, I can edit anytime for you. Just make sure you tag me in the post with the info so I don't miss it! You may have to be signed in to Google to edit the document. (Although I don't think this is true because I was able to edit when I signed out of my profile) If you still can’t edit a file Make sure you're using a browser that works with Google Drive and Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Make sure your file isn't too large to be edited. Clear your cache and cookies. Turn off browser plugins or extensions in Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari. Compatible Browsers Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms work with the 2 most recent versions of the following browsers (unless specified otherwise). Make sure cookies and JavaScript are turned on for your browser. Chrome Firefox Windows only: Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Edge Mac only: Safari
  7. You shouldn't need to download anything or have anything installed as that's the benefit of it being on Google, it's an open document. Weird.
  8. Can you see if it will let you add your date to the sheet? Not sure why it won't let some people since I have it set to edit for everyone. Just curious what your experience with it will be. https://tinyurl.com/SummerWLS

    Got my approval

Pre-congrats on getting your date!! I've been drinking bone broth for a few years now. I think it's much more flavorful than regular broth and you get the added benefit of healthy collagen. Just search on Amazon and you'll find lots of options. Kettle & Fire is a popular brand, but one of the most expensive ones. I've had generic versions and they taste just fine. If you like savory and salty foods, I like to add garlic salt to beef bone broth and sip it like tea! I've also been known to add butter to it to kick the taste up a bit.
  10. Got my date - 8/13/18!! :D

  11. @debbie89, @Tierra T Tij, @numinousvessel, @kat6620, @Mrs. Rob - You've all had your surgery, let us know how you're doing!
  12. Not sure what's up, I logged out completely and it still let me edit. I'll dig into it deeper, but I did add your surgery!
  13. I'll add you. It's just an open spreadsheet and you should be able to just type in your info. I'll bet you'll have a twin as more people get their dates in June!
  14. OK - The surgery date list is up: https://tinyurl.com/SummerWLS I've sorted the list by date so everyone can find their surgery twin - there are lots of matches! For those that have a time frame in mind but haven't yet scheduled, I've listed your time as tentative. For anyone that has posted but not shared a date yours is listed as TBD. You can edit your information on this sheet anytime. If I've missed you, you're new, or when you get your surgery date just go into the sheet and add your info! I have also added a column for surgery type. If you want to share, you can go in and add the type of surgery you're having. I didn't fill this one in for anyone as I know some people don't want to share that info. *Certainly if anyone doesn't feel comfortable having their info listed, please let me know and I'll remove you (but you'll definitely still be welcome here!). I'll be placing this link in my signature so everyone can find it easily.
  15. Welcome to all the new members!! I finally get to join the club of those that have scheduled surgery dates. I set my countdown ticker below to Aug 13th because that is the date I wanted. Spoke to the scheduler today and she booked for that date! (On another note, since I am unable to update the first post on this thread with the list of members and surgery dates, I think I'll create a sheet on Google Docs. More to come!)
  16. I've collected some electronic binders throughout my research. I posted in another thread, but figured there are probably many more people that could use things. It's awful that some surgeons/programs aren't providing their patients with such a valuable research. So click on the links below to get your own binder. _Gastric Sleeve Binder.pdf bariatric-patient-binder.pdf Gastric Bypass Binder.pdf Gastric Sleeve Handbook 2.pdf
  17. It should work on any device that has adobe reader. The links are to PDF files, not a website.
  18. Yeah I just read that in the tech support section. Lame. I wanted to update the first post on this thread with the list of everyone’s surgery dates now I can’t do that.
  19. Why isn't this possible. Thousands of other message boards let you edit or delete for an indefinite period of time. I fail to see the logic in limiting it to a specific window of time.
  20. Am I crazy???? I'm pretty sure I've edited posts on here before but now all of a sudden I don't see that option anymore on any of my posts.
