    Weight Loss Scale

@NYJenn just Google bioimpedence scale. I got mine on Groupon a few years back.
  2. @b0rii305 it's just a type of bottled water with electrolytes
  3. Some people find that tap water doesn't agree with them post up. You may consider getting a filter if you find tap doesn't agree with yoy. In the hospital, I ended getting my husband to bring me smartwater to finish my water challenge. The water from a filtered machine was just too metallic tasting. Hydration is hydration get it how you can!

    Weight Loss Scale

I have a scale that does weight, water, and fat. It helps me see other fluctuations other than just the weight. Like I actually gained .8 but my water levels are up and my fat it's slightly lower so I have a better idea what it's occurring. I'm only 3 weeks out and I'm on the scale only 2-3 times a week until I get my one month mark, then I'm aiming for once a week or every two weeks. You actually have to say no scale and break the habit with the scale. Put it on a calendar! If it's not a weigh day then stay off. Store the scale on a shelf or inconvenient spot not on a floor where you can just hop on.
  5. I had my surgery on Tuesday the 19th. I was knocked out for the rest of the day. I did vomit twice in the first 24 hours but then I was fine. I walked a mile and was discharged on the 20th. Things have been going smooth and I switched to regular liquid Tylenol by Thursday. I've been hitting at least 2 miles a day on the pedometer. No problem getting liquid or protein. Thank God [emoji119]
  6. @MAL I am using solgar liquid Cal/mag+d3 formula and nature's plus chewable multi and chewable iron. I have isopure drinks + the powder version. I am attaching my haul
  7. Still pre-op but I've heard this can be from the anesthesia and breathing tube. Are you holding a pillow to your tummy for support during cough? I've never had surgery so I can speak to tiredness. Maybe if you have protein that is mixed with vitamins reach for that one over just protein only shake variations. Glad you're staying hydrated!

What kind of blender for purees?

That doesn't work for the pureed stage to my knowledge...

What kind of blender for purees?

I have a refurbished vitamix. I've had for several years tho. I didn't buy because of the surgery.
  10. I start 1st day of 2 weeks tomorrow! I've my shakes and jello packed for work. Hope it's going well@SLsleeved@TeeBeau and@makisue!
  11. Yeah, I am using the high protein slimfast and unjury shakes. There are other shakes unless your surgeon disapproves but a protein shake isn't the most appetizing thing no matter the brand IMHO. [emoji52] Sent from my Nokia 6.1 using BariatricPal mobile app

  14. I just did this. You should check with your HR representative who handles FMLA only. They will advise you regarding your institutional policy and cannot disclose because they are designated as confidential HR personnel (if that makes sense). I submitted my FMLA and had been approved. They offer came 24 hours later. I informed the hurting manger at that time and we both agreed my start date would remain the same. New job 3/11, sleeve 3/19. I'm only asking for the same weeks. It's a desk job. But know your policy first before proceeding! Sent from my Nokia 6.1 using BariatricPal mobile app
