I'm having the same issue. I had RnY 2 weeks ago. I first week I lost 10 pounds. The second week I've gained 6 back. I'm so frustrated. The minute I went from liquid to soft foods, I started gaining. -

Hello all... I'm 5 days post-op and struggling... I was on a liquid diet for 2 weeks prior to surgery... I'm still on the liquid diet... I'm problem is pain in my shoulders from the gas. Also even small amounts of liquid cause my stomach to hurt and swell😞 -
Hello everyone... I'm scheduled for RnY on July 16th... I'm absolutely hating the pre-op liquid diet... And the closer the date gets the more nervous and worried I'm becoming... Not as excited and happy as I thought I would be 😞

I have both a hiatal hernia and a hernia paraesophageal. I'm have the RnY on July 16th. My surgeon is repairing both hernias during my surgery. I'm 5'1" & 209 lbs. My surgeon refused to give me the Gastric Sleeve because he stated I would have acid reflux afterwards due to the pressure the sleeve puts on your esophagus.
