Hello everyone, I was sleeved Monday morning so if you don’t count the day of the sleeve I’m in day2. How long should I expect these gas pains? I’m walking as much as I can. It still hurts to sip water.

Sleeved 3/20 lost 16lbs then same for 4 days normal?

I was also sleeved on 3/20 and seemed to have stalled at 17lbs. I only weigh myself once a week and at my post op dr visit. I was getting frustrated, but see we are all in similar situations. We need to trust the process. [emoji4] -
Hello! How long before you were comfortable to sleep on your side? I am 4 days post op.

For 10 days I have a clear liquid diet- broth, sugar free jello, sugar free popsicle, protein shake (2 oz - 4 times a day). I also can have juice (100% real juice no sugar added) diluted half with water. That is one of my favorites- 1/8 c cranberry juice 1/8 c water. No more than a half a cup of liquids each meal.

Cooking for family post-op

I asked a similar question to another support group and the responses seem the same. I am just 3 days post op so I’m not eating or cooking for my family yet, but people say that in a few weeks I should be able to. I enjoy cooking for my family and was worried that it would be hard but I was assured that if I enjoyed it before I will again. -
I am trying to stay away from cold things. My water is room temp. I was planning on a popsicle tonight though. Do you think that could make it worse?

I had to follow a strict liquid diet for 4 days prior to surgery. I waited almost a year between my first appointment with my surgeon and my actual surgery which was Tuesday.
