    Feeling Hungry & Freaked out

Really?? And did you ever go back to eating more normally or drinking carbonated Beverages? I am absolutely fine so far with my new way of eating but the one thing I miss sooo much is a crisp cold seltzer water [emoji30][emoji30][emoji30]

Feeling like I'm starving on liquid diet

Water water and more water. Or seltzer, diet soda, crystal light. Anything 0 calorie and hydrating to fill up your stomach in between shakes.

    Feeling Hungry & Freaked out

Thanks for the reply!! I hope so. Just really freaked out - today I feel like I did in each past diet right before it went out the window. Not in terms of cravings - just in terms of not being able to focus anything but the feeling of hunger. I’m not craving anything other than this stupid hunger to go away!!

    Feeling Hungry & Freaked out

How far out from surgery are you ? What do you eat to get your protein in? I’m still on liquids but definitely not meeting the protein goal - have only been getting in 35grams or so each day

Were you banded or bypassed? Congrats on almost being down to your goal!! That’s amazing

    Feeling Hungry & Freaked out

You drank 10oz of fluid at once? Part of what’s freaking me out is drinking liquids- I don’t chug water but I can easily take 3 or 4 good sized sips just within the past few days with only some grumbles in my stomach. If I can drink 4 oz of water at once and still be so hungry how is 4oz of food going to fill me up for very long ?

What to Eat – Fast Food Quick Guide

I saw you mention the Walden farms dressing on a few posts and going to put in an order from amazon. Can you recommend any flavors? (Or any I should stay away from)? Thanks!
  8. Hi new friends ! I’m one week and one day post RNY and have to order a bridesmaids dress for a wedding I’m in end of September. I need to order the dress now and have no idea what size to get so hoping to get thoughts from people post op how quickly they shed size? My stats - I’m just under 5’10” and pre surgery wore around a 22/24. My start weight before the preop diet was 335, 319 or so at surgery and per the scale just now, 304. (Anxious for those 4 in the 3’s needless to say!) Does anyone have any recommendations of what sizes I should order? I can tailor something to make it smaller but am terrified of not fitting into the dress!! How mortifying !

Post RNY - Dress size question

So cute!!! Will definitely suggest. I got a 16 as the 18 was no longer available ... hope it works!!

Post RNY - Dress size question

Haha yes thank god for spanks!! I have a larger tummy and big boobs but a pretty small high waist? Right under my boobs I guess. I ordered a 16 and some extra fabric in case... hopefully that’s going to work ahhh!!!
  11. Shoot good question. I had RNY on April 3rd and have a trip to Vegas at the end of May (half work half play) and then a work trip to India at the beginning of July. That’s 7 weeks out for Vegas and just over 4 months for India so I think I’ll be okay?

Post RNY - Dress size question

Here is the dress (hoping the picture comes through!) - pretty loose fitting, A line, no boneing and made of chiffon.
  13. I drank isogenix shakes. They have pretty good flavors and are kind of a marshmellowy consistency once mixed up so are really filling. I didn’t tell anyone at work about my surgery (other than my boss) and as isogenix is a very well known diet, I had the perfect cover!

    What length is your bypass?

Interested to hear what the doctor had to say about various lengths - pros cons and what not. My doctor bypasses 200cm but I didn’t know this until after the surgery. It seems to be on the higher end of what’s normal.

1 Week Post Op - Rash

Thanks everyone for the replies! I ended up going to see my PA and it is a sort of fungal rash...gross! She prescribed a topical steroid/anti fungal cream so hopefully that helps soon
