Hi there What is the new normal for bowel movement? I find my self going 7-9 days even while taking a softener and laxatives.

I went throw Kiaser and I did ask if my BMI got lower would they cancel surgery. My doctor said no! They would still offer me waightloss surgery. She said having surgery at this BMI is a good thing because I would be able to get under the obesity BMI and maintain it. I am excited! I am on day 8 and have lost 12lbs.

Hello from a newly sleeved newbie!

Congrats on your recovery! I had my sleeve done 1/7/2019. It’s been trying to say the least but every day gets better. Every day I drink a little more. Pain is beginning to minimize but I did just order a gastric band for my tummy. I feel the best when there is some pressure applied to my stomach. Heres to a speedy recovery! -

It was NOT gas pain.
tayna40 replied to mickeemariee's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My gas pain were quite severe. I spent my first night in the hospital and retching the entire night. I kept on thinking to myself boy did I make the wrong decision. Around about day three mini came home I started looking at stretching positions that relieve gas. I found making laps in my bedroom and having a sip of water at the end of each lap and then doing the downward dog on the bed really helps push my digestive and stomach track together to help move gas out of my system. -
The smell of cooked food makes me sick.

Hi everyone, i has my VSG about 4 days ago. My problem is that every time someone cooks in the house it makes me sick. Dose this go away soon? -
I have waited almost 11 month to have my surgery (1/7/19) but I have continue to lose weight and I am down to 196 about a 34BMI. I’m wondering what kind of weight loss should be expected?
