Hi Sandy: Congrats on that big step in your life (health). What I had was alot of gas and shoulder pain, also my port incision took longer too heal, it was placed next to an old gall bladder incision. My band was also unfill. After one week I started eating soft scramble eggs, vienna sausage (soft meats) yogurt and protein drinks. Ask your dr. when could you get off liquids.Try not to rush in getting a fill, try waiting past six weeks if you can. Sandy you"ll be feeling better soon. Best of luck keep in touch. Bug (Ray)

Fluoro is use in St.pete., not in Tampa thats the reason. Also I have the annual plan with fill centers, At $1,200. a year, four fill and eight consultations you might be able to swap consultations for fills. I believe each fill is $275 not sure. I have experience no problem with them as of get.Call them before your surgery and then decide. Their number is 866-345-5872.Do your research before surgery. Am eating much less now. Definitely not just one cup of anything! This is my fourth fill (6cctotal). I know I haven't found the r/spot yet, but am staying put. The minute I feel no restriction I'm running to get a fill. Bug57 -

Hi tami How are you doing? "How are things coming along". Bug57 -
Sandy, please don't feel afraid. One step at a time, first the surgery get over that first. The best way to get fills is with fluoro. But don't rush into them wait till you really need one. you will know when you need one. I usually drink water doing the procedure, no problem swallowing is o.k. if not she will reduce the fluid. But you'll know in a couple of days how much of a restriction you have. I get my fill. at Fill Centers USA St.Petersburg office, she is Kathie Gonzales ARNP.She's great!! I'll give you more information as we go along. We're all new at this. A NEW ADVENTURE IN OUR LIVES!
