If he's truly at the, local gym, I'll drag my tired fat body out of bed, pull on my OSU sweatshirt, a pair of bicycle shorts, my cross-trainers and be right over. Sweet eye-candy and the only, candy I'd indulge in currently![emoji13][emoji106]Yum Yum! PS. He actually resembles Nate at our local gym, a trainer who was a High School classmate of my son coincidently Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

What a lovely collage that is,@Browneyez- I hope to duplicate it myself. Those are truly the tools of the trade. One of our local car agencies had a commercial jingle. " B I C K, that's not the way to spell Buick the only thing missing is U" That's only thing missing in the picture you posted ---YOU!![emoji173] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app -

Is that the normal way of things? I"m still stuck in pre-surg and I feel that way already. I used enjoy the taste and sensations of. food, don't now. Hadn't mentioned it on here because I thought I was just weird, I've divorced myself from all the former food friends I used to have but strange thing, when I see them it's like they are strangers I feel no real relationship with them any more. They are just things passing by? Is that normal? You're the only person I feel safe asking, used to ask Fluffy Chix but she's too wrapped in her own successes at weight loss to talk anymore[emoji37] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Thaks for reminding me, this morning I woke up with a little more hope in my[emoji173], maybe I'm too impatient, maybe I'm a slow loser like my Bariatric Friend Forever Fluffy Chix, hey saw one of her postings today and she's starting to get some GOOD results. So happy for her. Been about a month now, but in that month I've been battling the sinusitis from Hades. I am on my 4th different antibiotic, yesterday I had to go to my local hospital also known as the "band aid station" to the Columbus hospitals, one of which I'll have my future surgery at. Anyway I had to have sinus X-rays, something even they couldn't mess up too bad.Gosh they put my poor head in the weirdest contortions. One was my head back and my neck, hyperextented, I asked them,"Are you sure nobody's going to come in and put an endothracheal tube down my throat? Because that's roughly the same position they put someone in for surgery. Also told them to show a little mercy for my 72 year-old spine and body! They are not quite as flexible as they once were! I know I act younger, I call it suffering from Peter Pan Syndrome," I never grew up" in some of my emotional dealings. But I think it does give me a sunny bouncy attitude in life, except my sunny is having trouble showing with a perpetual Headache. Been closer to a month and a half now and perhaps my body is using my losing weight energy on that instead. Oh I am going to get there, I checked my current eating on My Fitness Pal and I'm averaging 900-1000 calorie, gave up breads and their evil cousins- pasteries, rice etc. About the only Cereal grain I'm eating is oats in my AM oatmeal, only potato family is sweet potatoes, gave up butter and brown sugar on them eons ago. Just nuke them in the microwave, split them open and eat them. And I've been stuck in this lull about as long as all this. When I see the surgeon maybe I can tell him "see I need surgery because it isn't going away on its own" Ohio doesn't seem to get on the Better Weather Train this month. If it gets up to 60-70, the next day it snows. I want spring and I want it abundantly and vibrantly WARM. [emoji106][emoji13] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

And you will, my guess is he was just overwhelmed thinking the woman he loves and cherishes will be going through such a thing. It is scary to watch but it will bring so many benefits to your life. When you are smaller and fitter, not only will you enjoy being able to play and have fun, you'll be more fun to be with. Not saying you're not cool now, but then you'll be cool to the heavens and beyond And hubby, the7 year old and even the 20 year old will be so proud of you. 20 year, may not come out and say so, at that age they seldom do, but you will see it in 7 year old's eyes. At that age Mom is, and always will be her role model and special Angel! Go for it, and it will all be yours![emoji304][emoji13] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Good luck my friends for tomorrow. Please check in with us when your surgeries are finished, we want to shout and cheer when you have your Victories.[emoji106][emoji14] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app -
Welcome consuelo to Bariatric Pal. Yes it is exciting to be starting, it is a big life changing thing you have undertaken. Won't always be easy, you may end up with bends and curves on the journey. There may even be times when you feel ready to give up but you won't. The victories in your life outweigh anything bad. I'm a little bit farther along but haven't gotten my date as yet. If things smooth out for me I'm thinking May or June? Although I'm in rather a holding pattern I'm still eating, better and more, low calorie than my former diet. And I don't eat or even desire desserts of any kind anymore. I feel like I'm still in training for the Weight Loss Derby, just taking longer than I like. Ask any questions you may might have, if I don't have an answer someone else on Bariatric Pal will. You're in the middle of a world wide group of nice helpful people, and each new person is special in all our eyes.[emoji14] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Let me give you another vent-able. Back when I first met ex-surgeon, yeah the one who kicked me to,the curb, dang his dirty soul. He had me lie back on his table and expose my belly so he could palpate it, guess that way he got a idea if I had anything that would bar a laprascopic approach, well, that was sorta OK. He then turns to his junior doctor who was following around and said "I just read her paperwork and she's gynecologic intact". This insult meant he was making fun of me for NOT having a hysterectomy. Now explain how that surgery would make me more worthy,to have a sleeve or a RnY bypass? And they both laughed at his little joke. Now I wish I had kneed or kicked his manparts so HE would be the one needing surgery. Yeah I probably won't have, it might have been nasty and revengeful, but with the way things turned out, I should have. I believed in him and he trampled my plans into the dust. But you know what? I'm still going to have my victory, get my surgery and mentally say,nah nah on You![emoji2] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

All great good things and as the old standard song says "little things mean a lot!" thank you for sharing yours.[emoji14] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app -
Okayestmom Hi there. I can sympathize with many of your trials. Oh the hoops we jump through, the tests we have, but you know the final result will be worth it. Will, you be a sleeve or a bypass? My bariatric hospital says they do more bypasses, can't prove it by me,seems like a lot more sleevers on BP. Maybe we Bypassers, cause that's going to be mine when time comes, are less vocal? Anyway we love each other, our innards may get arranged differently but we are all recruits in the Weight Loss Wars and we visit back and forth a lot.[emoji14] I have apnea, GERD, arthritis since 25, hiatal hernia, crankey level COPD, 2 knee replacements. strawberry Blonde hair, 5ft8in, 323lb that gives me a BMI of 47 and I'm 72 loud, proud years old. Yes a,little older than the average but I'm in it to win it as we all are. Located in Central Ohio and having my surgery in Columbus. When? Danged if I know, maybe May? In the meantime I'm the Welcome Wagon, self appointed, I love to met new friends here. Hang around with us a while, we are very nice folk[emoji14][emoji626][emoji13] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

A little crazy but a lot romantic.Remember I'm as old as dirt -so I'm full of useless information. Well General consensus is-- I'm full of something else, but a healthy dose of Miralax will cure that. Now back to the subject at hand, back,in the 30s or maybe 40s there was a song-Irving Berlin, maybe Rodgers and Hart? One of the lyrics went " a girl I can carry, the girl that I marry must be" Way back,in the mid 60s, was dating this guy, joking and playing around, he picked me up (at this point I was 180-190, LONG time and many pounds ago) he carried me through the front gate of his parents house, sat me down on the front sidewalk, I then picked him up carried him the rest of the way to the front door and sat him down on the front porch. Must have bruised his fragile little ego because we broke up shortly after that![emoji13] Poor Little Darling, bless his [emoji173]. He's probably bald, toothless and as heavy as me if he's still alive. My mother liked him, maybe more than I did, corresponded with him even after I married, I chose my husband not her and she was p****d at me, never forgave me, always wanted to fight hubby for my love. Still frustrated until she died in 2003, at that time I had been married for 35 years, but she never gave up. Maybe that's where my stubbornness comes from, in my case I use it to stay on track until my surgery day. Better than sitting on a limb of the Peeve Tree, I think[emoji14] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app -

Arnica, great for bruises also, calendula, very smooth and soothing. Odd, But as I go farther and farther into my weight loss journey I am becoming more holistic and leaning more toward vegetarian if not total vegan, meat doesn't sit well on a gastritis stomach as it used to. I've been going to fish, small amounts of Turkey or chicken. If I can keep Hector my baby ulcer asleep, life is more beautiful[emoji106][emoji14] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Carlab -another strawberry blonde chick- imagine your before at 72, you've got a ball park idea of what I look like now. But you give me hope, yes you do and perhaps I can rock a 70s version of you, makes me want to keep on keeping on.
