Don't get frustrated, a lot of us have had to fight with our State and Provincial goverments, haven't heard of any b of them known for their reasonableness. Hang in there Honey and every little thing will work out right. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app -

Recommendations for Gastric Bypass Surgery
frust8 replied to Anks's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
If I were wanting to do this more economically I would consider Bariatric Pal MX and. Dr Illian. Although there are doctors in Texas, Louisiana, Michigan and Florida that are more budget-friendly, Alex Brecher will be having his revision to Mini Bypass at Bariatric PalMx, and it isn't because of economic issues because he could afford any US or Canadian surgeon. He knows the staff there and trusts them with his own health. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app -

Lifechange2018 I think WLS is difficult for husbands, wives, and patners to wrap their minds around. Many can't or won't try to understand. They may think we are perfect the way we are. One of my bari-sisters S.O. said to her "But you're mutilating your body!" she told me this, the jury is still out whether this relationship will continue. I think everyone should attend an informational meeting or doctors appointment with you. Perhaps they just regard this as a whim on your part? Just saying. Are there any Bariatric Pals from anywhere else in Africa? I'm sure South Africa is not the only place on the continent where such surgeries are done? Please post and tell us about your surgeries also. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

What% of bypass patients develop this kind of ulcer? Is there anything we can do to avoid it or is it just a bad spin on the roulette wheel of life? Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Never strive to be just average, you have the capability to be extraordinary. Just average is as close to the bottom as the top of things. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

September bypass buddies
frust8 replied to newmebithebypass's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
September will sing a sweet sweet song in your life. Use these months as a chance to delete bad things from your life and diet. Remember you are strong, you are special and you will make success of this. And you may end up a mentor to someone newer than you to the process. Always give yourself permission to move forward, the goal is ahead and worth it. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app -

My Edoscopy showed chronic gastritis
frust8 replied to Rudedogg89's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I know I did, I have arthritis and often took 3-4 to keep on top of pain. Hector(my baby ulcer) was from that, like Creekimp no h.pylori. I'm told my WLS will help with him and the gastritis. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app -
New guy to the forum
frust8 replied to GettinSkinnywithit's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I'm glad you are going to do this. I'm going to have my surgery because I have, lived long enough with a tired body. I'm 72 and,can see not making it until,75, let alone the 88 I aspire to. I want to live in a stronger healthier body. If I get my cute back, well goody for my side. But i don't,want,to,live fat, with joints that hurt, no endurance and chronically puffing and wheezing through what time I have, left,on earth. I find the thought of surgery less frightening then the existance I have now. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app -
