Justb116, very few do wish they hadn't had WLS -'more wish they had done it sooner. I am still pre surg but I wish I had it done at a younger age. I'm 72, it won't be a "Walk in the park" for me like I was 20,30 or even 40. But I want a better rest of my days on this earth and I can't have that in a painful tired body which is slowing from the sheer weight of me. I'll confess, I am not currently logging although I have the My Fitness pal app. Why?, to be honest I have been pummled and jerked around on this journey that I almost felt like it didn't matter anymore. Once it really picks up speed, I meet the surgeon and the immediate staff personally, all I've met so far besides the seminar presenters is the receptionists at the front desk. I've looked over the pictures and bio of the 2 surgeons, I know which one I would prefer, but honestly,I'd take either one. I'll tell you guys later if I Got my choice,okay? I just want a conclusion to this all, I started in August 2015 to seek this, I feel like I've wasted my valuable time tilting at windmills when I should have had my surgery and done. Your chances are good that it will be fine, this must be National Irritate the Client Day, AshMarie's Blue Care is doing equal things to her, her surgery is already scheduled for Wednesday and now they are pulling a balk on her. Seems it's between her PCP, surgeon and the insurance company and each blames the other. [emoji404]And AshMarie is caught in the middle. It would be so nice if we could do that on here more often. As an example I'm thinking of asking for samples of products from Bari-manufactures. I am in OH-'' my guesses low BMI, no co morbidity, company deleted to save money (which is a DIRTY trick) hadn't worked at current employment long enough for coverage or somehow else fell between the cracks. Ohio Medicaid does pay for bariatric surgery, 3 months of nutritional consult etc. So otherwise your guess is as good as mine! And if you have the Obamacare, it's covered, when they added maternity coverage Bariatrics got "grandfathered" in.
