@ love4040 please allow me to channel your body a moment: "Hey love4040, it's me -your body. What do you think you're trying to pull? I thought we had a good thing going, I was in homeostasis, that's a fancy, word for balance, I was kinda happy there. Sure you were rather pudgy and all but I was getting q.s., that was medicalese for quantity sufficent Fluid, plenty of fluids and beaucoup calories and things were fine from my perspective. Then you haul me off to some hospital, take a nap and allow doctors to perform assault and battery on my sweet self. I'd call you a back-stabber except that is not where they stabbed me![emoji51] Now in addition to allowing them to hurt me you are giving me a diet that would barely keep an earthworm alive! I suppose you want me to use your fat stores for enough energy? You do? Now I thought we were friends, we have hung around together for years and now you won't give me the calories I want, fine buddy you are! Okay okay I'll try burning your fat but it's not going to be a happy time for you. I plan to give you a Headache, mess up your bowel habits, maybe I'll give you loose stools maybe hard as bricks, haven't fully decided yet. I'll make you feel weak, I'll make you cranky, I may even send my good buddy appetite or his sister-in-law nausea to visit you. I'm not happy with this new you and I just want you to know this! Oh well maybe after a while I'll resign myself to all this, but right now? Meh I don't love you so much!" ,,,,,,......Your Body[emoji20] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

I would say give yourself 4-6 weeks. You probably, will feel froggy before that but I did your job 25 years. You have a fair amount of lifting and transfers and a good chance of having your tummy bumped at work. Make sure your incisions are no longer sore before you go back full time. I [emoji173] my patients, nurses hmm administration meh. There are times that i still miss it! Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Just call him Dr Doofus, somebody must have helped him through medical school because it is obvious he never learned to read. shake him up in a brown paper bag with me, I have been reading since I was 2 1/2.I taught myself, got tired of waiting for Mamma to read me a story. And that is the truth. I have had a library card since I was 4, only prerequirement was reading ability, by then I was reading grade school level books with zero pictures. I got kicked out of the children's summer reading program at 8, that year everybody had to read 10 books, I read 1423. The motif was airplanes that year, mine circled the library multiple times and was heading down the basement steps where the "stacks" were. I was such an over -achiever it made the other kids feel bad. So I didn't get to compete from then on! Genius-hood is not easy, no one wants to play with you, this explains why we mostly became nerds, to entertain ourselves in studies.[emoji51] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

H pylori is a bacterium that often is the cause of gastric ulcers. So having a negative report is a GOOD thing. I suspect(although I'm not certain) you will be less likely to produce post-surgery ulceration especially if you have a bypass. FYI I do have a small gastric ulcer which I named Hector, he's my baby so I named him. Hector was not caused by h pylori, he came from excessive NSAID usage. I have had arthritis since age,25, which hurts always. When it would escalate in pain I popped ibuprofen like candy into my little mouth. After years of abusing my stomach lining Hector made his grouchy little appearance. He and the accompanying gastritis make for a cranky tummy for me[emoji34] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

I wonder how many calories you can burn jumping to conclusions or running around in circles.I have tried going off in a tangent but it didn't burn any at all. Perhaps I should have run at full tilt?[emoji6] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app -

Do you have PCOS? With that you get pigmentation in the dangest places, like the inside surface of your thighs. Old mother's remedy- lemon juice. Cut [emoji522] in half across its fat little middle, that way you have 2 halves. You can squeeze most of the juice out if you want and set it aside to make lemonade. Now put your elbows in skwooshed lemon halves, leave them there for say a half hour. Might have to repeat for several days but lemon juice is a lightly bleaching substance and it should work. You'll smell good, when you're thru with them put them down the garbage disposal and grind them up. Should freshen your blades up and make kitchen smell nice. You are welcome![emoji14] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Any April surgery buddies
frust8 replied to Relle2190's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
And I ladies have you all beat on the bad side. I'm 5ft8in and 323 lbs, this means I was nearly a 100 lbs dopeyer until I realized Hey I'm not going to,lose this weight quicker and easier than surgery, better see a doctor about this! I'm reading all your posts to learn more practical advice about what kinds taste okay, what ones taste like the bottom of a bird cage or litter box. What ones are overpriced and what ones I best can afford.? I did not ,pick the wealthiest portion of my,life to go off looking for a magic bullet to get rid of this weight. And guess what? Even if I found one the price and Donald Trump wouldn't let me fire a gun.[emoji20] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
