Boy did Mother Nature and that virus do a number,on you and April Fools Day no less. Hey I really do sympathize, it is a miserable painful thing to have. I took care of a gentleman with it in one of my nursing home jobs.And my PCP insisted I have the shingles shot, only,1 drug store in my town of 20,000 people had it. It is kept frozen , they only reconstitute it right before it is administered. Then you,have to sit there for at least a half hour waiting to make sure you don't have any reaction. I didn't but it sure makes your arm sore. I went to,my high school,class reunion with a sore swollen upper left arm. I have a size 18 dress I'm hoarding, when I finally fit it I'll know I'm getting close to my goal. A 15/16 and 175 lbs. Well,really a 15 cause I never was built like a misses, more a junior. Curious they chose W W but every plan is different, they,want to see if you can lose under a structured program. Mine was,all done by the nurse practitioner in my former surgeon's office.I had a diet sheet I had to chart my diet and activity levels on, I followed my daily diet on My Fitness Pal and then transfered the information over onto paper. Once a month we met to go overmy,sheet and see if we had to make changes.I had completed 5 of the 6 that insurance required, then my job terminated, and i,lost my insurance. Thought well that's that, so stopped going. Turned out the insurance I switched.to has less.requirments, i,could have gone ahead with surgery at that point but no one notified me. I'm 5ft 8in,323 lb , strawberry blonde hair hazel,green eyes and 72 years old. I'm hoping to have RnY surgery within the next couple of months. I would really like it to be May. I'm in sorta hold status but hope the gears start turning April 25th when I have a psychological appointment with Dr Kramer at Martha Morehouse Pavilion in Columbus Ohio. This is at OSU-Wexner Medical Center where I hope to have my surgery. I have gone through the complete program at another Center of Excellence hospital. Wasn't aware,i had completed all requirements the first time, had my job terminated, had to change insurance company. Plan#2 didn't require all the things for approval, they failed to notify me of this, so I thought there was no hope of finalizing it. Returned in Autumn 2017 to try again, redid all prerequirements and completed them in January 2018, was waiting to be notified of a surgery date, instead the 3 surgeons in the practice had themselves a little meeting and then decided not to perform my surgery. Cried my eyes out for several days then picked myself up, dusted myself off and decided,to,persue surgery at another Center of Excellence hospital which,OSU is and has been since the rankings we're first instituted. This was the first place laprascopic surgery for Bariatrics was,performed in Central Ohio and among the first in all of Ohio. Very cool place, in fact my 2nd child and 1st son was,born there. Wild coincidence, when I called to apply i,was still,it their files and my son had been born there in 1976. Linda, the phone receptionist said Welcome Home and then called me by name.I was absolutely shocked. I attended a Introductory,seminar at Martha Morehouse a building in the OSU medical complex. Liked what I heard so signed up March 9th, 17 days after program #1 had kicked me to the curb. Was on,pins and needles for maybe 8 business,days and then they called to grant,me the April,25th appointment. See all my credits(for lack,of a better term) transfer to any other C of E program I at least got the sons of Seabiscuit the Horse to grant me that. So depending on any other requirements,this particular program has, I either fulfill them or go directly meeting the surgeon and receiving my surgery date. Your EGD should transfer over unless they found something interesting. If you had damage from,GERD, gastritis or an ulcer like I have they will probably repeat it. Just saw my orthopaedic surgeon, he ordered me PT, that's going to help my sciatica which is why i saw him, extra benefit the exercise will help,with the weight loss and believe you me, it can only help. I am stuck at 323, my body is perfectly satisfied with that, it enjoys me FAT I on the other hand do not. As I have told others I have had arthritis since I was 25, constant low pain,level body-wide, I have had 2 knee replacements, the combination of arthritis and obesity wore them down to bone on bone. And honestly it is wearing me down in so many ways to drag this body around. I have to get this surgery, many of my high school classmates are dying and I don't want to join them yet. Our class reunion will be in August, won't it be wonderful,if no one recognizes me cause I look so good? Ready for this? We graduated 55 years ago May 28th. At 148 you'll still have curves, your boobs won't have to compete with your belly for attention and your booty will be small enough a guy can hold each cheek in his hands when he pulls you close to him. Put out your sweet personality toward him and rein him in, if he has even half his hormones working he'll like what he sees, want to get closer to you, and from then you two will write your own kind of music.
