Ash Ash I came up with a new motto When your body is full of fluid and moist All your bodily cells will rejoice. Ok not the best poem in the world but I do work cheap![emoji13] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

frust8 replied to acrowder61's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You get a date, I'll get a date Won't it be great When we can celebrate! We'll still rock this,my friend![emoji444][emoji447][emoji444][emoji13] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app -
Also try a chiropractor just to make sure your neck isn't strained or out of alignment. My chiro is kind, gentle, and has helped me a lot [emoji13] Also cheaper than visits to PCP. Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

And you will get healthier day by day, not only for yourself but for all us pre-surgs and "newbies" who are trying to follow your footprints into the future. You new surgs are going to be our examples and mentors, we'll learn so much in this way.[emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Maybe you've been such a good girl you've hit the dreaded 3-week stall 9 days early. Keep on what you're doing right, once your body "catches its breath" you will resume losing again. Have your measurements gotten smaller,? even those NSV (non scale victories) are something to feel proud of. You are an example to all the "newbies" who yearn to be like you and someday they will be. Smile, you're still traveling on the road to better health![emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Where are all the 50 something bypass patients?
frust8 replied to choosehope's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
Roxine---Happy Belated Birthday 18 days late. Seems like I'm late for many things in life, must be why I'm having a RnY at 72. Only thing i was personally early for was my birth, I was due to arrive. January 6th, I was born on December 26th. I still was 7lb12oz, if I'd baked another 11 days I probably would have been 8 1/2 or 9lbs.[emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app -
Yeah but once you reach a certain age(50 in most places, 40 or earlier with a family history) doctors try to sell you on colonoscopy like an insurance agent on speed who hasn't made his monthly quota. And they get so bent out shape they nearly can kiss their toes if you say "Thanks but No Thanks!". Been there, done that and I'm safe from their tender mercies until the Autumn of 2022, barring any colonic deterioration![emoji7] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

The Yorkshire Dales are my dream location, my,mother's ancestors came from there, my father's from Lancastershire, many Canadians and Americans are your distant cousins, you,know.[emoji13][emoji12][emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Yaaay ! I feel like I’m working towards something
frust8 replied to TropicalBeachDoll's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Logicwand I hope I join her there, I can also be a Panic Princess and if we go through it together we can, lean on each other's strength! You were a sleever, well as a future RnY I keep dreaming my surgeon sneezes and makes my pouch face the wrong way and spends an extra half-hour trying to rejoin my intestines. Totally groundless, mine has done so many he probably could do them in his sleep- although I'm hopeful the whole team will be wide awake,so you mentally waving bye bye to the stomach portion resonates with me. TropicalBeachDoll I promise to be your buddie, even if our dates don't align, okay? We can and will do,this, Girlfriend![emoji13][emoji173][emoji172][emoji13][emoji171][emoji13][emoji170] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app -
How long until you start feeling "normal" ?
frust8 replied to AchieveGoals's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Keep up your fluids, but remember Vitamins and other things in your diet might change urine shades. Just keep on keeping on, you may still be in a recovery mode, some people heal slower and get leveled out at an different rate. Keep faith through it all![emoji12][emoji170] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app -
Keep some Smooth Move Tea on your in-case shelf. I think everyone should have one of those, mine is a small plastic tote I keep under my bedside table, I have a box of Smooth Move tea, Miramax & M..O.M so far in there, I'm sure a few more things will be going in there. I lurk and listen what had worked for other people doing their journeys and I've learned a lot already.[emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Yeast infections do have a rather sweetish smell. Make sure your yogurt has active cultures in it and it should help. If not then bring El Medico into the picture.[emoji12]l Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

And it will, you've been through a lot in a short period of time, it will take time for your body to adapt to all the changes. You might have been asleep but your body says I was Right There When All This Happened to Me-I'll be okay in a little while but I've had a Shock! Walk when you can,nap when you need to but remember to get those fluids in! "When you are nice and moist Your Body Cells All Rejoice" And please continue to update us,we pre surgs[emoji173] to hear these stories, reaffirms we are making the right choice also. And when I have a problem I can say Oh Sarah had that too, she got through it okay, I can too![emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

You know I would have expected it to be the opposite. With the estrogen and other chemicals that have been stored in your fat stores layer released I would have expected increased lubrication instead. Maybe a problem for your gynecologist to puzzle over?[emoji6] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
