    Calculating Goal Weight

Hey peeps! Did you see Arnold just had cardiac surgery? Had to have a valve replacement, don't know if it was the pig one they put in years ago or another, but when he woke up from the surgery his first words" I'm Back"[emoji14][emoji38][emoji14] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Need help plz. Beginning 6 math diet

Give up sodas & empty carbohydrate calories, cut down on coffee and other caffeine drinks until they are gone. More vegetables, especially green and yellow ones. Lower red meats, go to fish and lean fowl. Add beans, good fiber there and there are many varieties of them. Exercise more, even if you start with walks around the house, then around the block and neighborhood, work yourself up to the gym, if you go there now, you might get discouraged looking around at everybody else looking fit and trim. They may have once have been in your shoes and worked themselves up to there[emoji14] Most important believe in yourself, you are good, worthwhile, this is a project you will gain so much from , a longer healthier fitter life, less shortness of breath, more able to fit into the good things in life. Go for it, it is within your grasp if you really try! And you have a built in cheering squad in all of your Bariatric Pals![emoji14][emoji626][emoji14] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. Must have his reasons, sounds strict but I'm sure he knows what worked best in his practice and it may be in your best interest, after all. You will certainly be well'--healed for each stage.[emoji106][emoji14] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  5. Michelekarch if you are still lurking around and I hope you are, I didn't have my surgery at Mount Carmel with Marcus Miller. Amber, his Bariatric Facilitator is wonderful, I loved her and I guess I always will, but Dr Miller & I parted company in February. His idea-- not mine. Don't want to bad-mouth him, he may still be perfect for you. Now planning for surgery at OSU, maybe May? I will still receive my RnY, maybe the delay will strengthen me but I thought I was strong enough already. At any rate sunshine for today and the future![emoji304] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

  10. Haven't been sleeved(sorry) but I do have GERD from Hades and a hiatal hernia. Looking forward to my RnY, have gone from the minor league to the Cadillac, Dexilant, so far it is keeping my gastritis tamed and Hector, my little baby ulcer asleep. Missed my dose one morning and HELLO. My gastric region woke up and I didn't have a fun day. Join me in bypass-ville and things will only get better![emoji13] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

    101 pounds and weeping

And you do have something to celebrate-YOU! You've been High, now you're working towards Low. 1st time in your life when being low down is a benefit. Bet you feel life is a little more worth living, never forget the past for without it you would not made the commitment to move into the future. And when you sat there, hugging your dogs and gentle-ly crying, didn't you still feel a little wonderment that this struggle you committed to does pay benefits?. Good for you and have a beautiful sunny day for the sunshine is within YOU.[emoji14][emoji304][emoji14] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

  15. Compassionate self-defense leads to change; harsh self-criticism only holds a toxic pattern in place. This creates a stubborn defensive basic self. Be gentle and firm with yourself as you would with a child. This acceptance of reality and permission to grow is a gift to youself Accept it for it is the first step to change. Size of Dilation?

My guess: 12-15 mm but only your surgeon knows what has worked best in the past for him/her. I'm hoping for a turkey or duck-egg size pouch instead of a pullet chicken but as long as I'm turned into a kangaroo( a pouch, okay?) I'll take what I receive.[emoji38]PS sorry to hear of that serious serious surgery, now you get healthy again, you hear? Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
