  2. Got a new haircut/hairdo. Best way I can describe it is between a pixie and a shag, maybe a pshagsie? At any rate with my red hair its as cute as a 72 year old gets, now on to transforming my body, that project takes a while[emoji13] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

    Hiatal hernia and sleeve surgery

Couldn't see how it could be. Darlin' I am so greatful to hear your story is going to have a good conclusion. If you've been around for a while you probably know my own road has been bumpy, twisted and almost almost derailed once. You have just given me hope my own will be also over and done. If it is happening for you it can for me as well.[emoji12][emoji106] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

    Gas pain

The gas from inside your body usually gets absorbed by your body tissues, the gas they usually talk about on here is the evil flatulence. WLS people seem to have inordinate amounts, you might say your colon makes its organ recital. Partly malabsorption, swollen air, food breakdown etc. Really bad when there are no dogs[emoji190] or small children[emoji64] to put the blame on.[emoji13] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

    Bladder issues

Only suggestion your wise old Bariatric Good -mother has, flood yourself with fluid afterwards to lessen chances of UTI, be slow, gentle and loving with each other, let him be on top so your cervix is awash with little wigglers at the right time and pray real hard for the baby blessing![emoji67][emoji64][emoji68] [emoji173] and hugs! Bladder issues

As the sad honoree of a cystocele and rectocele from 3 9lb babies, basically the front and back wals of my veejayjay have herniated, you may just have a cystocele like me, a fallen bladder like you thought or a small tumor like the above responder. Who you need to consult is a gyno-urologist. they specialize in both systems. If you don't live in or near a city with a medical university like I do, check with an urologist or gyno second, both can help you. My problem , well a teeny more FYI, except for increased pelvic pain and heaviness and being more prone to UTI, I can't get on top at mattress mambo maneuvers time[emoji17] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  13. Betcha that's the incision they pulled your stomach out through, that one always heals slower and stays tender longest. When I had my tubal ligation I swore my navel would never heal up and it itched. Used to rub it with a Q-tip. Funny hadn't thought about THAT for years![emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

  15. Do you have to wear those lovely brown knee high support socks?. My little lymphedema self does,[emoji174] don't tell me my son or doctor but I'm taking a break today![emoji12] And my PCP says surgery will help with it also. Probably will always have the tendency but it will greatly lessen.[emoji15] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

    Easter candy!

How would you like to be allergic to chocolate like me? No true joy there in a cocoa world. Alas I still have a few nemesis left -like Reeses pieces and Payday bars.Whipped cream, Maraschino cherries and Caramel syrup. Lead me not into Blondie Brownies and Iced Sugar Cookies. I have food-dar, I'll find them on my own![emoji497][emoji512][emoji511][emoji513] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

    May surgery

And I hope to be joining you there! By the end of April[emoji414],I hope to know when, can't be too soon for me. My weight loss story started in August 2015, many hairpin turns[emoji420], an attempted derailment by the sons of Seabiscuit the [emoji237] at previous bariatric program, a Center of Excellence no less (gagging sound) but I am now in better program where I should have first gone and my hopes are tree-top high[emoji267]this time! I can and shall succeed and receive the RnY I have been seeking for so long. I am a 72 year old stubborn redhead,[emoji35] and I should not be thwarted, World-[emoji290]- be ye warned!!![emoji95][emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

    Plastics done :)

Dr Stacey[emoji40][emoji72]is an angel-she does heavenly work, what a beautiful work was done for you. I can see why you would want to travel 1/2way across the USA for her. Congratulations to you and her for a job well done![emoji106][emoji12] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  20. MACPOWER are you up and motivating yet? Figure so, you're only an hour behind me. Another Football-type joke. Man says to Football Coach" I have a very talented horse. Why I think you could use him as a place kicker! " Coach "Oh yeah? Show me !" Man tees up football, horse turns around and kicks it 100 yards. Coach "Wow that is impressive. Tell me, can he also run?" Man "Listen if he could run I wouldn't be wasting time talking to you. I'd have entered him in the Kentucky Derby by now!" Hey is Ak Sar Ben still in business? Just wondering. Somebody told me it is not a horse track any more and has been turned into a concert venue. One more quickie Why do some Big Ten football fields have artificial turf? Answer: The cheerleaders graze natural grass too short! Go make like a sumo-----lift a couple100s in my honor![emoji123][emoji123][emoji123] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

    Stealth Easter

Not to necessarily boost WallyWorld but in Housewares department there like little guacamole dishes right near the silicon spatulas, hand can openers etc. Those would also work nicely. Dang, I worked there so long I can picture the layout in my mind still. Whatever![emoji68] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app
  24. That my dear is why KetoFlu is also called Carb Flu. Giving it up can be almost as painful as the real flu, and like any other addiction your body wants it back and doesn't want you withdrawing. Like previous responder said it is do -able. but it is going to take strong willpower, think of it as the struggle it is. Junk food is seductive, it wants you back in its clutches. Our taste buds were trained from itty bitty hood to enjoy the taste, want the taste and especially crave the satisfaction we once gained from it. Stop having a baby type reaction, now that we have our new tool- well you do, mine hasn't been installed yet-- but you know what I'm saying is true-- we have to establish and keep an adult relationship with food. Think of it also this way, I am not yet an ordained bariatric person but there are such things as lay ministers,& that's me . I have currently gastritis and have encountered post surg characteristics early. I can't eat more than small amounts at times, and I even mini-dump like a baby bypasser, can't reason why just know that's how it is.You have got to eat high quality foods, not clunky junky, eat to live but not live to eat. And stop obsessing over the Twix and Ding Dong on the grocery shelf, the shelf needs it there to balance the display, you don't. You have to do this for yourself and also for me, I'm following along behind you, you need to set me a GOOD example. Me and all the newbies are counting on You.
